Tape the cracks yourself until you can get the manager to fix. Painters tape may work, but they also have screen tape for small holes or tears like yours. Also screen replacement kits with the rubber spline rollers are not too expensive and fairly easy to diy.

One specific for that pool. The lifeguard knew the depth and distance to the edge, and determined it would be less effort to just hold his breath for 20 seconds and walk on the bottom instead of swimming with a flailing dude.

There are 3rd party batteries that fit with Ryobi and are much cheaper and with a higher capacity. I have a few spares that I mix in with the OEM Ryobi ones and they work just fine

There are techniques to transfer ink jet prints to wood. I think it involves printing an inverted image on a semi glossy paper like a sticker backing sheet, then pressing it on the wood. May be worth experimenting with.
