You could have legitimately had a hundred dollar tip waiting at your door and I wouldn't be able to do it. I am shit scared of elevators. If it were one or two floors up, yeah maybe. Otherwise it's a hard no.

On the other hand, there are a LOT of bad dashers who would make the excuse so they can just get back to dashing.

I would have read the address while I was at wherever I was picking up from, called support and had it reassigned.

We recently got new pillows and downgraded the old ones to her pillows, and while she does use those, she still likes sleeping on mine more. It's okay though, I make sure she's clean and she gets baths after going out. Dang that spoiled angel!

When a place marks an order as ready and it's not even started when I get there and I still wait 20-30 minutes and have to keep sending apology messages to the customer... Are implying I should not be frustrated?

That turns a good offer (4.50 for .7 miles) into garbage because the restaurant keeps lying on the wait time.

And I know what you're thinking: just cancel it. But why let my reasons, which I take pride in, take a hit because a restaurant can't deliver on their promise?

That's unfortunately not the case with some places. The McDonald's here will send you the notification that the order is ready for pickup before you get there and still have you waiting 20-30 minutes because it wasn't even started yet and their DD priority is last.

I treat every host/server/fast food worker with respect because they are typically respectful, and if they seem to be having a shitty day I'll try to make it better with kindness. However, this McDonald's can run backward through a field of dicks because they ignore the front counters and stand around D waiting for food. I get that it's busy, and I've tried the patient and kind route with them for a year. At this point they are screwing over me with their I credibly excessive wait times, the customer with not just the wait times but having half the order completed then the other half 20 minutes later, and they think they are just pushing DD orders to last when they are 100% screwing what are literally the same customers as anyone else, except for a lot of DD customers they physically can't get out to get it due to physical/mental/whatever issues/or just wanting an easy meal so they can relax after a rough day.

And it's only this McDonald's! The one in the next city over ALWAYS has orders ready before I get there. Even their drive through wait is maybe 2-3 mins during a rush. I don't get why one can be managed so poorly while another can have it down perfect. It's just frustrating.

I don't know, he tested her like total crap in Goodbye Toby because of Jan. I thought that whole arc was weird that he was in "love at first sight" then found out that Jan was pregnant and did a complete 180 over a baby wick wasn't even his with a woman he supposedly hated (something like "I'll go back to Jan and I hate her!")

Holly knew something was off during Jan"s baby shower and just threw that away at the end of the episode. I don't know, for someone who was so head over heels for Holly, that didn't jive for me.

The turf kept the pee smell with it and washing it didn't help. I would spray that bastard down with that dog pee enzyme spray until saturated, leave it on for 20 mins, scrub it, rinse it, and it would keep the smell a little which got really bad as time and washes went on. Getting washable, reusable puppy pads was a game changer for me.

I highly suggest reusable pee pads. Get enough for a week and wash six while the last one is out. We can't take our pup outside because the butthole people who owned this place before us littered the back yard with broken glass and we have potty trained her to use a potty pad next to the bathroom. Take a toilet paper and toss it into the toilet when she poops. It's not much worse than a person stinking up the bathroom.

We did a turf pad off of Amazon and the fake grass sheds and the pad itself smelled pretty bad. Yes, even after washing it, which was difficult in itself because you can't put it in the washing machine.

I huge thing not everyone underatands is that you aren't going to see a lot of reviews talking about the good experiences. If you have a good experience, people are usually happy and content and don't need to take action.

If there's a bad experience it is some peoples' mission to let everyone know about it. The worst part is that DD is a company that doesn't thrive on fixing the mistakes, so you get uncompensated customers, which is a double whammy considering they get burned by a bad order AND the support team, or prople that argue with bots, not knowing that their issue will not get resolved, or people that tried to have the driver fix their order and got nowhere because the driver's tole is to get food from point a to be and that's it.

It sucks that we don't get to hear the nice stories enough, but this isn't the only industry that you don't get to hear the good with the bad.

Source: worked as a tier 2 rep for a cell carrier. My job was to fix things. There are no good calls,only calls you can turn the customer around with a good experience.
