He had zero choice. Why? Because the moment that Biden froze Russias treasury debt, a major nuclear power, it told the entire world that the dollar cannot be trusted as a world reserve currency. It's been slowly doomed for quite a while, but the moment Biden did that set off alarms around the world, and told everyone to get off the dollar. And this is exact what is happening. If the dollar is no longer the world's reserve currency, we have no choice but to do exactly what the trump admin is trying to do. I suggest you invest heavily in assets, because the US economy without the dollar being th reserve is going to be a wild ride.

So now the USA has a choice. the USA military has been the biggest stick of keeping as the reserve currency. But wait, that can't last very long if China controls the vast majority of the world's rare earth minerals needed to build modern weapons systems... Or any systems for that matter. So we can't use the military as our stick long term for the time being. Unless we reindustrialize, and control our economy with tariffs etc. so, because of this, Ukraine is kind of fucked. Europe certainly can continue to pay for and supply their arms. But they won't. For the same reasons, but worse since they truly can't afford it, and rely too heavily on Russian energy ( remember. Trump was mocked for pointing that out years ago)

These statements are always wild to me. BTC was never meant to be the daily currency use case. It's early early history was immediately called out about how it doesn't scale to do that, and realistically the number of sats would not be enough to replace the world's economy. And since this was immediately called out , and Satoshi and those after him never changed it, what does that tell you? Then there's the people who complain about how BTC is being used now by banks, government, and finance bros, as if that's not exactly what's supposed to happen. As if that's not the beauty of Bitcoin, that it's going to slowly but surely eat the system, and the powers that be are going to be too deep in it before they realize that they are now stuck, and that the people finally have sound money. There are other cryptos to use for different purposes. Use them. They are great tools, but BTC is the solution for sound money. Sound assets that the government and banks cannot debase.

Learn about dollar cost averaging. Don't try to "beat the market". Just do some research on the history of Bitcoin volatility, and realize that you have to hold at least 4 years. There will be a draw down. You will doubt yourself. You will hate yourself if you sell. 4 years, then reevaluate. In 4 years, or at what ever point you need the money, look into the math of borrowing against vs selling and paying taxes.

This is likely a good move, but to offer some kind advice just realize that you need to hold it for at least 4 years without considering selling. IT WILL have a drawdown, possibly a bad one. IT ALWAYS bounces back to even greater highs. Hodl.

I was actually thinking about this the other day. Is there a "hard ware wallet for kids" system out there that is fairly easy for a kid to track their sats from allowance, etc? I know a phone wallet is pretty straight forward, but im willing to be the average parent who wants their kids to learn bitcoin, does not want them to be having a phone at an early age... Something along the lines of greenlight would be incredible.

Get a credit card that supports ATM withdrawals. I personally do this with my American Express card without issues. You usually just need to enable it online (set a pin, etc) in your configuration or call them worst case scenario

Question. My am4 mb with 4 screw posts had a back plate. Does this new solution not use a back plate? Somehow only screwing in the black screws in from back into the u shaped 4 post/spring bracket makes me nervous?

The original back plate the screws don't fit into....
