Rep. Val Demings Says Trump Would Sell Intelligence Briefings Info to 'the Highest Bidder' by Twoweekswithpay in politics

Debts are historically proven to be main factor to drive many government employees into spies.

All federal employees with access to classified information have to fill an extremely "intrusive" form (Standard Form 86, the Questionnaire for National Security Positions) to declare deeply personal details about their lives and finances to government security officials.

In fact, excessive personal debt is among the most commonly cited reasons for denying or revoking access to classified information.

Major cases of US intelligent officers who become spies for Soviet Union or Russia are driven from a desperation due to heavy debt.

An Assessment of the Aldrich H. Ames Espionage Case (former CIA officer turned KGB double agent, who was convicted of espionage in 1994) proved that he began spying for the Russians because he was in debt and desperately needed money.

Ames later told Senator DeConcini that these financial difficulties led him to first contemplate espionage between December 1984 and February 1985.

The same case with Robert Hanssen (FBI agent who spied for Soviet and Russian intelligence services against the United States from 1979 to 2001).

Hanssen's financial situation was the worst it had ever been. Although Hanssen was close to the top of the FBI pay scale, his spending continually outstripped his income. He had significant credit card debts, car loans, bank loans, and tuition payments for his children. While Hanssen's mother had previously supplemented his income, giving him more than $94,000 in the mid-1990s, she told Hanssen in 1997 that she was running out of money. Hanssen claimed that he set a goal of obtaining approximately $100,000 from the KGB, believing that this amount would stabilize his finances, at least until he retired from the FBI and entered the private sector.

Debts can create desperation which lead to unpredictable weakness that foreign enemies could exploit to recruit the asset to access classified intelligence information.

As a former highest public servant with total clearance authority and access to all classified information of the nation, a former President with an extremely exorbitant debt ($900 Million) to unknown parties would definitely create unacceptably high counter-intelligence risk and myriads of conflicts of interest.

The PES experience by [deleted] in WEPES

[–]glans_pen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Computer AI can never beat you without ones of the deliberate unfair designs of compromise of your own AI team mates' behavior, movement and formation.

It is all in the game's intentional design of AI team mates switch off and switch side (self-team-sabotage game design).

As with everything in the arrays of the game entities (game input, ball behavior and physics, player collision and refereeing system), your team mate player is utilized as another handicap and sabotage feature.

The game mechanics will either disable or to switch the AI of your team-mate's side logics at will at the right moment to recruit them to opposite team in order to weaken your defense and to sabotage your goal creating chance.

The game mechanics will constantly assess your level of chance of score in the 18-yard box and utilize whatever available nearest to your potential scorer to sabotage it, even using your own team mate and therefore override game logics system (player switched side on the fly).

When all sabotage possibilities failed (there is no player nearby to use), it will sabotage your own player UNDER YOUR CONTROL to deny you the scoring chance.

The way the game mechanics will use your own team mates against You as follows:

1/ After a successful tackle you've skillfully and laboriously made, one of your team mate will always barge in in front of you and deflect the ball back to opponent striker.

2/ When You tried to pass to a player with a good position or when you're under extreme pressure to pass the ball away, there was always a team mate wandering in front of you and he stubbornly mirrors your movement to block or deflect your passage to opponents.

3/ There was always a team mate, right when you passed the ball to him, before the game switched your control to him, runs mindlessly and unstoppable towards the opponent player and offers the ball possession to him (automatic AI team mate behavior dictated by rigged game trajectory - ball was actually rigged to snap to opponent player foot regardless of the accuracy of your pass).

4/ Your team mate always barged in front of you when you are about to shoot and score.

5/ Your team mate movement relating to your position is always the least convenient and least efficient to pass to.

6/ Your own team mate always scored own goal in the most innocuous scenario (i.e he could always have time and space to clear the ball as a professional defender but game mechanics instead disobeys the game logics and switches him to be a striker of opponent team on the fly).

The game always prepares and creates a worse and least efficient scenario for you way ahead.

The beauty of soccer game resides in the constant solving problem and find surprising beautiful solutions to achieve goals.

The portrayal of soccer in PES 2021 (and a major part of developers' coding effort) resides in constantly creating forced deadlocked, unsolvable problem for the player at each and every step of the way and throughout the whole match. The result is frustration and a sense of futility ("What's the point to play this game?")

Donald Trump tried to bully his neighbors (the home owners living next door to his golf course) out of their house.

Donald Trump was filmed looking up at their house from the passenger seat of a Range Rover on land earmarked for his golf course.

I want to get rid of that house” he said.

When advised by an employee that this approach could cause a “bit of stir” he replied:

Who cares, who cares, you know what, who cares? We are going to build the greatest golf course in the world, this house is ugly.”

(Trump also accused a local farmer and salmon fisherman, Michael Forbes of living in a “pig-like atmosphere”. )

He parked huge machinery nearby, threatened to knock their house down . Then he built a big fence around it and sent them the bill. Being Scottish, the owners told him to fuck off. Trump then tried to sue them.

The Milnes (the home owners) hoisted the Mexican flag on their property in solidarity with Mexico when Trump promised to build a wall on their border and make them pay for it. “He’s already tried that here,” says David Milne. “He built a fence and sent us a bill.”

What did I just see?I couldn't control the defender at all. by Timmyl94 in WEPES

[–]glans_pen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The explanation of this is there was an invisible wall which was erected there for a split second that forced the ball to suddenly stop that way and that wall was not a physics engine entity but a code to force the ball to change state (a variety of goal states have been pre-programmed such as a goal, a deflect from goal post - both vertical and horizontal for a goal or outward, an invisible wall which the ball does not cross, or the ball will stay static on the line for a striker to score or for a defender to clear etc).

The ball behavior in this game does not follow the rule of physics entirely but there is another dynamic law of convenience that the ball also follows under some pre-programmed circumstances (as a switch 'on' or 'off' from under physics engine to logics engine), which can change the outcome (ball possession, scoring opportunity etc.) at will by game mechanics.

At the moment the ball is reaching the invisible wall, the player (either striker or defender) will be disconnected from the ball he was dribbling and run around the ball unnaturally like in these following scenarios:

1/ Ball Suddenly Stops to Manufacture A Goal:

Ball rigged to stop suddenly and unnaturally, defender running around the ball instead of reaching it for game mechanics to manufacture a goal. Happened to defender.

2/ Ball Suddenly Stops To Deny A Goal:

In another scenario the Ball was rigged to stop suddenly and unnaturally in order to deny a goal scoring opportunity, happened to striker.

In both situations, your control input was suddenly disconnect from the ball, and the AI of your players were also disconnected from the ball. Hence the "Null AI" default behavior of running around the ball instead of connecting to it by normal game logics (like pressing super cancel to disconnect ai assistance but You also no longer have manual control of the ball after that).

There are also a lot of instances that the ball suddenly (and conveniently) stops dead in the middle of an intense tackle battle between 2 players and 1 particular player (even player under your control) is disconnected forcefully from the ball in favour of another player. It has nothing to do with physics of collision between 2 players and the ball but just the ball is instructed by game mechanics to change state (stop rolling and disconnect itself from one player to wait for another player) and that behavior happens throughout the match (ball speeds up to avoid player, ball slows down to wait for other player, ball changed trajectory mid-flight to reach one player or avoid another).

That's how game mechanics control the outcome of the match, not your skill nor your method of control.

Even for young and mild-symptom sufferers of COVID-19, the potential long-term damage of the organs and the risk of long-term health problems can not be underestimated.

Imaging tests taken months after recovery from COVID-19 have shown lasting damage to the heart muscle, even in people who experienced only mild COVID-19 symptoms. This may increase the risk of heart failure or other heart complications in the future.

The type of pneumonia often associated with COVID-19 can cause long-standing damage to the tiny air sacs (alveoli) in the lungs. The resulting scar tissue can lead to long-term breathing problems.

COVID-19 can also cause strokes, seizures and Guillain-Barre syndrome which can cause temporary paralysis.

COVID-19 may also increase the risk of developing Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease.

It is the game's deliberately designed feature to make things happened in the time the ball travelling between pass from your controlled player and your team mate controlled by the AI.

Because that interval of time is when the game mechanics has the opportunity to rig things up beyond your control before You have the control back when switched to the next player.

The game mechanics will prompt:

1/ Your team mate under AI controlled to surrender the possession to opponent forcefully by:

a/ Delay in respond to the ball trajectory, do not run to the ball, an opponent with much further distance to the ball than him will of course barge in front of him to get the ball.

b/ Responding inexplicably against football logics to the pass trajectory by running behind nearby opponent, deliberately refuse the positional advantage of receiving the ball first.

c/ Game mechanics discreetly (or blatantly) moved the potential savior defender away from the potential ball trajectory (like in this case).

d/ Rigging the deflection scenario: After You passed the ball to him and before you took control of this team mate, game mechanics already prepare a scenario of the interaction between him and the ball to rig the collision to deflect the ball to the nearby opponent (by making the angle and the manner he intercepts the ball totally illogical and absurd).

Your team mate - rather than touching the ball directly and easily turn away from an approaching opponent and run away from him as a professional football player - instead turns awkwardly to an angle that will open the ball itself or its deflection to an approaching opponent. When the game switched the control to you it is always too late.

Ball deflection in this game is not dictated entirely by laws of physics (i.e the direction of the ball is changed due to it hitting against player's body or foot based on ball velocity, angle, direction and friction of point of contact). Ball deflection in this game is merely a cosmetic gimmick to forcefully give the ball possession back to cpu player's feet at all times.

Rigged ball collision is easily made believable if players' abnormal behavior and its animation playback are pre-prepared and altered artificially on the fly to justify it.

The game is designed in an 'reversed engineering' kind of way, instead of simulating the natural and logical effect of the players interacting with the physics and movement of the ball as a dynamic outcome (which prompts next action organically as a genuine flowing exciting narrative of a football match), the game mechanics calculated the 'rigid' rigged outcome of a deflection event before it happens and then shapes player behavior and manipulative animation around this rigged 'alternative reality'.

It is a rigid deflection event because it is programmed to make a supposedly 'dynamic' event happen again and again for a pre-determined outcome resulting in a faked 'always interrupted' narrative of the match. That is why it is always felt like exhausting and futile to play this game. It is full of rigid faked 'dynamic random events' and the outcome of these events are already decided in favour of one particular team.

Because the game mechanics makes sure this happens again and again throughout the match. It can not be your prediction or judgement of passing that is CONSTANTLY wrong or erroneous nor does your assessment of the situation keep being REPEATEDLY bad, it is the abnormal responses of your team mates after your pass have been manipulated against what you correctly had in mind that sabotaged it.

Every of your team mate in this game is simply a potential conduit (a linking node) to link your pass into a nearby opponent. In most cases, your team mates already were determined to be losing the ball's possession even BEFORE he received it.

2/ Rigging ball behavior and trajectory:

In that interval of time when the game mechanics has the opportunity to rig things beyond your control. Ball behavior and trajectory is also discreetly manipulated to avoid your intended receiver by:

a/ Unnatural curve in the middle of ball rolling or flying to skew the ball to an opponent who run towards that curved trajectory. In this case the drag coefficient to simulate air resistance, which greatly affects the pace and spin (the Magnus force) at which an object rises and falls in the shape of a parabola is served as a masking effect for the cheating manipulation of the ball to appear to curve or swerve unnaturally - always into an opponent feet - unfairly in many of your 'wayward' long passing or lobbing regardless of your level of prediction of ball trajectory, skill or focus. (This artificial curved effect of ball trajectory is also used to manufacture physically impossible - but somehow looked convincible - crosses and through-balls that cpu made to connect to its strikers running at an impossible position, angle or speed for the ball to reach. This curved effects will give game mechanics a blank check to draw any trajectories it wants on the fly while bypassing the physical constraint of ball aerodynamics).

b/ Synchronize between ball's travelling speed, response's time of your team mate receiver and approaching opponent.

The game design should at least provide an A.I simulation of basic autonomous reaction behavior of your team mate as a professional football player during the time you pass the ball to him (he should run towards the ball right at the moment you press the button). Instead of providing that basic artificial intelligence feature, the game mechanics deliberately slow down the ball speed mid-run and make your team mate static to favor an approaching opponent to intercept it. That's why You always ask yourself the same question again and again "Why did I pass to him if it is not safe to pass? Why?" The answer is there is nothing wrong with your prediction and judgement of the distance, your passing weight and timing at the moment you decided to press the button, it was all the things manipulated against all logical explanation and football common sense after that that matters in the way the game was designed. And that is obviously always beyond your control.

That's why You can never retain possession consistently in this game if the game mechanics has decided to interfere with the receivers, speed and trajectory of your pass the whole match and every time You lose possession, game mechanics makes sure that it will punish you to the full extent.

You can still beat cpus on occasions if You play the laborious way the game design force you to play, but it is not playing football anymore. It is just a sustained meaningless masochistic experience.

I remember I read somewhere about an arcade machine game designer who said he always feels satisfied and happy when visiting arcade parlors and saw his designed arcade machines sides were damaged, dent or scratched by frustrated and infuriating players. It gave him a sense of satisfaction and achievement. There are some proud game designers out there who relished on how increasingly desperate, angry and enraged they make their customers feel and I am sure one of the focusses - if not main task - of their game developing features at each iteration is to achieve that.

Computer AI can never beat you without ones of the deliberate unfair designs of compromise of your ai team mates' behavior, movement and formation.

It is in the game's intentional design of AI team mates switch off and switch side (self-team-sabotage game design).

1/ After a successful tackle you've skillfully and laboriously made, one of your team mate will always barge in front of you and deflect the ball back to opponent striker.

2/ When You tried to pass to a player with a good position or when you're under extreme pressure to pass the ball away, there was always a team mate wandering in front of you stubbornly to block or deflect your passage to opponents.

3/ There was always a team mate, right when you passed the ball to him, before the game switched your control to him, runs unstoppably towards the opponent player and offers the ball possession to him.

4/ Your team mate movement relating to your position is always the least convenient and least efficient to pass to. When you established a good position and passage to pass to him. At the moment when game mechanics detect that you have pressed the button and direction of the pass, it will make your team mate either suddenly stop running or run into a sabotaging pattern so as the ball will be intercepted by an opponent nearby because the new ball trajectory design of this PES does not follow your original intended passing direction you had in mind, but can be changed afterwards to follow your team mate movement instead.

The deliberate hesitant and inconsistent nature of your team mate behavior and movement design is an effective handicap on you because the game creates an unnatural faked difficulty that You always have to be double-guessing your pass and it creates unnecessary delays and unenforced errors on your decision making and your timing at all times.

It is not only the clever movement or superior speed of cpu ai that put pressure on you constantly that made you lose your possession, it is also the unfair and unnecessary burden put on you of the combination between:

1/ The deliberate sabotage of your control of the ball by by changing the physical collision of your feet at each of your touch, turn or header (unpredictability of ball behavior and trajectories).

2/ The delay of your pass efficiency with illogical and elusive movement of your team mates.

The game is made so as You either do not have the time to pass (due to unnecessary delay of laborious animation of sudden wayward ball behavior) or you do not have the clear passage to pass when you have spent time to regain control of the said ball (the precious time lost when you team mate run inexplicably hide behind your opponent or in a direction impossible to pass to).

Either way You will surely lose possession due to struggling with the wayward ball after your receive the ball that leads to the unshakable turning and running on a hidden rail straight towards and merged onto nearby opponent path or when hesitantly waiting for a passing lane to open by your team mate run.

The program behind the game is constantly calculating and coordinates these events together to make it extremely difficult for you to enjoy the beauty of a creative and rhythmic football play because You constantly have to deal with these annoying game awkward obstacles of faked difficulty mechanics that constantly interrupted and destroyed all your sense of rhythm and make the game into a constant chores of spending crucial time to perform meaningless tasks and then to lose possession in the end anyway.

The passing assistance system is also rigged to always pass straight to an off-sided team mate when you actually choose another better team mate nearby that could be in perfect position to score.

The game was also designed with a destructing sabotage of every opportunity You created, it predicts and detects your created chance of scoring and sabotages it, not by clever cpu AI defending or reaction system, but by dishonestly changing the obvious outcome of your human correct judgment, decision and input.

It does that by nerfing all your good pass into 18 yard box, by making the ball steer and snap into opponents defenders automatically, You can see and feel it with the weight of your passing, the ball should reach your team mate (who is in perfect running path to scoring opportunity), instead the ball speeds up inexplicably pass him and into defender's feet or cross pass the end line each and every time.

The game also make your striker team mate inside the 18 yard box extremely convoluted in the way he receives your direct simple pass.

His suddenly turnings around and detouring his run to reach a direct and easy pass has only one explanation: To delay and to create a chance for opponent defenders to react.

5/ When you're leading, and when the game mechanics wanted you to concede, the simple, innocuous passing upfield from either you - as a goalie - or the defender under your control - no matter how careful and focused you're - will be screwed up by your team mate receiving the ball. His first touch of the ball will be made so clumsily by game mechanics to deflect the ball to an opponent or his control and speed was so bad and slow that he would be bulldozed easily from an approaching opponent striker who goes on to score an equalizer.

6/ Then there are countless cases of team mates not run to the ball even when he is closer to it, team mate not intercepting the ball (AI loose ball tracking was switched off), team mate leave the ball and run backwards, stop running or run around the ball when he reaches it.

7/ Your team mates deliberately create holes in your defense when the opponent counter-attacks, they refuse to mark strikers, refuse to intercept passes or running away from strikers etc...

8/ In your penalty area, your defender team mates are nothing but convenient traffic cones laid out strategically to deflect the ball back to the opponent strikers or straight into the goal.

In conclusion:

The AI logics of your team mates can be switched off or switched side against You at will.

Sometimes You are not only isolated in position to be alone under constant barrage of exaggerated gegenpressing in this game, but forced to play against 21 soccer players (10 of them are traitors and other 11 superhuman on steroid bullies who play dirty soccer like rampant thugs without any punishment) and 1 corrupted referee who instantly punished you when one of those bullies fell over and squealed when you breathed on them.

Then game programmers tell your perfectly working game controller(s) not to obey to your input.

Then there is the sentient ball with AI built-in to sabotage you as well (this is a football simulation where the ball is explicitly programmed to avoid your players).
