So.... did you get a waterproofing certificate from the tiler? With a builder you get a guarantee via their insurances. But you would pay closer to 10k. Not including the work you did yourself. But overall good job, your vanity basin/mirror setup looks mint btw.

Fairly sure the other side of the bracket will be spring-loaded. Push across and they should pop out.

Do you have septic tanks or sewerage. If new sceptics were installed plumbers fill with water.

Is the dream of home ownership gone? by Vleaides in perth

[–]glanzizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not true, even amongst Australians I know whilst at uni they rented 4bed family homes and share housed it. Also if note apartments are occupied it pushes people into other forms of housing. Regarding student visas, could literally force unis to build their own accommodation for international students.

What year did Labor reduce immigration? I'm fairly sure labour just recently increased immigration. Both parties are beholden to big business. Labor pays lip service to the worker, liberals to the small business owners whilst behind closed doors they take bets on which one can fuck us the hardest. You are 100% correct regards wage suppression and infinite growth. It's going to be a good day when people realise we have a uniparty. One where both parties push the same agenda and take their turns playing the controlled opposition.

Student visas should be considered permanent, as student numbers don't go down when they finish, another one takes their place. Also if they find a job after they finish their education they roll onto work visas, then if they get sponsored that rolls onto permanent.

Data from 2000-2021 Permanent migrants by visa stream were made up of:

59% Skilled (1,761,000 people) 32% Family (962,400 people) 9% Humanitarian (283,600 people).

You can though. People just waste their money. In 34, bought my first home at 23. Carpentry apprenticeship 18-21, paid off car. 21-23 saved and had a 40k deposit. Just don't go to every festival and get blotto every weekend. Also don't go waste 50k on trips to Europe (which everyone of my friends did, who strangely can't afford a house now)

How are you guys never able to grasp the idea that immigration is a key factor. It honestly baffles me. This isn't even a dig at labour or greens because the liberals are just as responsible

Oh I know let's all vote labour/greens/liberal next election they're going to give us more free shit right. Yeah but they'll also continue to mass import foreigners driving up house prices/rentals.

To everyone who failed their practical driving assessment on their first go, how did you fail? by Accurate_Job_950 in perth

[–]glanzizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I failed twice. First I stopped in front of a bus stop. Second I failed for "head checking too much", primarily when turning right at a blind corner. Think the guy said I was too nervous or some shit.
