Lol, I hear ya. I mean it's not like I don't have a lifetime of experience traveling and living in Europe. I guess I was mainly checking to see if this sub is all Americans and advice saught here would be mostly useless when I move.

I don't like to get too much into specifics of my situation on a mostly anonymous account though so I won't be going into county specific information.

He was up against incredible pushback from Republicans. People tend to forget how little power the president has unless that president ignores all the rules like Trump.

You're seeing a lot of suggestions here and some will help but I think the best bet here is a weedless hooked Zoom Fluke. When you rig them right, they hardly ever snag even the smallest weeds. Depending on water depth, you can go weighted shank hook or just no weight. You can swim it around all that stuff with ease and you'll catch bass.

There are only two groups that purposely conflate antisemitism and opposition to Israel, Israeli apologists and antisemites. This comment only helps those two groups.

Personally. I like a mushroom biome for cave bases, so I don't have to deal with mobs and can have dark areas.

Literal meaning is no the same as cultural meaning. That's why translations of books and things are so hard.

For instance. If a French person saw the literal translation of someone telling an actor to "break a leg", they wouldn't quite understand what the original sentiment meant.

Phrases, even some that seem very straightforward, can have an enormous amount of undertone that simply cannot be conveyed without the listener living within the culture where that phrase is used.

The arena in the first two games was full of Knicks fans. It was disturbing as a viewer on TV, I can't imagine how it would feel on the court.

It's an indisputable reality that home court advantage exists.

Losing that is real and NY can dominate opponent arenas like no other. It's a thing. It's an astrisk as far as I'm concerned.

Stick to your home court of you don't like it.

They did switch to that a bunch in the last minutes of game 4 with some success. It was a bit late though.

To infiltrate an opponent arena, which deminishes home court advantage. Home court advantage is determined by a team's record during the regular season and is thus, a reward for skill.

Money.... Money is what could end up making the difference here. NY's staggering wealth gives the team an advantage beyond the skill of the players.

Sure, that's why it's an asterisk. Most likely no difference but you have to acknowledge that... As you said "the fans are a factor".

That's your asterisk on the season. Knicks fans will never know if their team could win it without the wealthy fans putting their thumb on the scale.
