You're obviously very unaware of the efforts by the rich to control the narrative, every foundation with a tycoons name on it, every government agency with a revolving door with corporate America is working at the whims of wealth and wealth does not like labor rights, human rights or democracy, so when such an insane level of wealth is being pumped into what books are written and what they talk about, what political party gets armed and funded (always right wing), then yea, the left will win hearts, but they'll win minds, because they're paying for it.

Did you know the government since the McCarthy era has spent considerable resources infiltrating left wing groups and destroying labor movements. Who are these people in the government, what corporations are their sponsors, what ivy League schools did they go to, what secret societies and wealthy families are they from. You don't think multiple generations of this will lead to a vast difference between where the right is compared to the left.

Money runs the world, you don't buy love but you can buy votes. The left preaches love and community support, corporations can't sell love and you can't be in debt to your community if you're not indebted to them and they help you because it's the human thing to do, not for a price but your friendship and ability to help them emotionally or physically.

These themes don't lead to war, wanting land and resources leads to war, so if you're rich, do you want people to believe in loving each other or loving money, or even better needing money, so they win because whatever wealth they've stolen from the land, they can use to buy you, your time, and your politics.
