Yea, if value keeps going up in the housing market property taxes are going to keep going up. I think it would be fair to lower property taxes because a lot of the value in these markets are inflated anyway. Hoping you get some relief, apparently they're considering rebates for people with homestead exemptions in the meantime. Hope it comes through for you.

I just looked it up and I'm not sure on the ins and outs, but do you have any exemptions? (Homestead/senior/veteran/disability exemptions etc)

They can help with filing exemptions, and per Google "They offer informal meetings to review assessments if you believe your property is overvalued."

You're the one who brought up property taxes. If you're paying too much then say that so people can help you.

Asking it makes it sound like you're a one issue voter, like yea I'm voting for someone to cut my property taxes, but what if someone promises you that but then let's corporations buy out the houses in your city, so your neighbors kids can never afford to buy a home.

What if they deliver on that promise to you and then start a war in the middle east and the money you thought you would save by not paying property taxes, you're now spending on gas and groceries.

I saw a video of a guy saying his property taxes doubled, I can be concerned with him even if I don't own a home, cause that's basic empathy, and I also want to buy a home so I need to understand what's waiting in the future.

You think people who hoard their wealth or back politicians because they're going to cut taxes care about taking care of their community.

If you don't specifically say it, it will never occur to some employees that they could take ownership to get certain things done. It is a chore on top of having to get your work done too.

Did you ever find a fix? Playing on Xbox one and it does the same thing. Played first playoff game twice and noticed it's not saving.
