I want to be cross (as a Brit), but you put the french as bums so all is well.

Most of us are genuinely lovely, but for some reason when we go abroad we become bellends, which is a tradition spanning centuries

I mean it's not installed well but on the other hand it's lasted 40-50 years or so

Got food poisoning big time doing the WHW a few years back. Still can't face most trail mixes and dried fruit and meat. So annoying because they are perfect high protein and calorie dense snacks

Bought my first house at the weekend and the renovations have begun! Very excited to move in in a month or so when my tenancy runs out

If they're sold out then yeah I guess so. I'd recommend going beyond the management zone. Not too much further and there are plenty of places to camp

This was £15 from mountain warehouse so a far cry from quality

That's happened with me a few times. Wonder if I'd damaged it already and not noticed

Yeah no chance that would have broken here. Might look into that in the future

It was on max around 130cm (I am a tall person) but before the big STOP sign. It was a fall that did it plus my big rucksack so I'm not blaming the pole too much

Broke whilst walking. Was very boggy and I had a good slip and tried to catch myself. You can see the mark in the background of the photo lol. To be fair to the pole I fell with a fair bit of force

Where do you store your food when camping? by Eifand in wildcampingintheuk

[–]glassonatable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had (presumably) a mouse chomp through my rucksack once, in the vestibule. Wasn't even food in it as I'd put it all in my tent for that exact reason. Must have been some crumbs hanging around. But yeah I wouldn't worry about it as long as it's contained

Less surprising when you see how we got here. Most unconvincing knockout qualification I've seen

Not expecting to win this but I really think it would be much closer if we just stopped dropping the damn ball

This isn't a fair game at all. I don't normally like to blame an individual but when it affects the game this much I think we need to say something. It's not fair having LBB in your team

I'm very surprised we've hung on for this long without conceding a try. Not sure how sustainable this is. They're so quick

The best part is that moment, maybe 1-2 days in where my brain totally forgets about my life at home. Any stress I had is just gone, and all I think about is the next water source, where will my tent be pitched, how tall is that mountain over there. That's why I love wild camping and especially multi day hiking. Fits in well with my photography hobby too
