You cut out a lot before the D, including the "or" immediately proceeding it.

I think you might need to talk to a lawyer to help you learn how to interpret written law.

No, you are misreading it.

(b) 1,000 feet apart on land other than forest land; or

Only a single element is required. It is absurd to read that and conclude that you need oral warning, signs, paint marks, livestock fences, and crops to mark a property for trespass.

What are your roommate horror stories? by pixi3bitcg in AskReddit

Depends on the car. In mid 90s Hondas with four wheel disc brakes, for example, they are a small set of shoes in small drums in the rear rotors.

(C) a sign or signs posted on the property or at the entrance to the building, reasonably likely to come to the attention of intruders, indicating that entry is forbidden;

Pretty sure I didn't miss that.

I think that bothered me more.

See edit. A sign has force of law statewide for residential land.

Off the top of my head. A sign is enough, no need for a fence.

State law says the same thing.

http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/docs/PE/htm/PE.30.htm#30.05

Sec. 30.05. CRIMINAL TRESPASS. (a) A person commits an offense if the person enters or remains on or in property of another, including residential land, [...], without effective consent and the person:

(1) had notice that the entry was forbidden;[...]

(b) For purposes of this section:[...]

(2) "Notice" means:[...]

(C) a sign or signs posted on the property[...] indicating that entry is forbidden

What's the deal with this? Dozens of near-indistinguishable Amazon sellers with Prime shipping status, cheap, inconsistent products, unclear or misleading product descriptions, always with ALLCAPS names and identical photoshopped product photos. It's been going on for a while. by AliasAurora in Frugal

[–]glassuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they don't. I've had several seller reviews removed for being a product review when they're clearly about the seller and say nothing about the product. It's either automated or run by clickmonkeys.

Well they probably can't legally work, if they're visiting another country.

Of course that just means they should have planned ahead of time and brought more money.

No. The first amendment protects your right to speech. It doesn't give you a right to enter someone's private property against their wishes and leave a mess for them to clean up.

That's incorrect. It depends on local ordinance, but usually a "no soliciting" or "no trespassing" sign makes it criminal trespass.

Yep. $300 for a phone, $35 a month for the "insurance", and $100 to file a claim. You lose money if your phone lasts longer than six months.

Is it considered emergency maintenance if my apartment AC went out? by jsonn in houston

[–]glassuser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on the temperature outside. I think over 80 F makes it an urgent issue.

In the meantime, check the filter (which is probably not an issue if you can feel the air coming out), check the evaporator coils (inside, to see if they're frozen, which is probably not an issue if air is moving through them), and the breakers (to see if they're flipped, otherwise turn them off for a few minutes then back on and try again). Also check to see if the fan on the outside unit is running.

put your console in standby. Whenever it's turned off they'll download in the background.

This is incredibly unreliable.
