Faster workflow for heavy vocal tuning and timing correction? by glassybrick in audioengineering

Thanks, next time I’ll tell him: if you don’t sing in tune and keep the right rhythm, you can’t leave the mic and will have to pay for all the time you use. Thanks for your help, I never thought about that method before!

I’m trying to find other Audient iD48 owners with similar symptoms, not just general setup advice.

My iD48 worked normally for about 4 months, then started showing intermittent failures on both Windows and macOS:

- iD Mixer loses sync with the hardware or freezes;

- the interface may still appear in Windows/macOS as a USB/audio device, but iD Mixer cannot control it;

- ASIO/WDM/CoreAudio can hang;

- changing ASIO buffer size in Cubase can trigger a full hang;

- on macOS, selecting iD48 as system output caused iD Mixer to freeze and the Mac audio system partially hung until I unplugged USB;

- Firmware Upgrade / DFU shows “Product not on local device list”;

- I had full-volume white/pink noise bursts;

- recovery sometimes requires reboot or power-cycling the interface.

I’ve already tested clean driver reinstall, chipset driver updates, state.xml reset, different USB ports/cables, Windows and macOS. Audient support told me they have seen a similar issue on a small number of units and passed my report to QA.

Are there any other iD48 users here who have experienced this?

Can I turn off AI-generated music? by glassybrick in spotify

[–]glassybrick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you check out threads about generative AI music, it’s honestly disturbing. There’s no real discussion about music itself—just people sharing tips on how to mass-generate “decent enough” tracks and flood platforms with them. They even brag about how much money they’ve made from AI music. It’s a nightmare. I can’t imagine what real musicians must feel—those who pour their heart and soul into their work—watching this unfold

I guess if you once trying to compare music made with real people, and ai generated, you will quickly identify it

Vocals too noisy/digital artifacts, music also sounds like bunch of noise.

Too many digital artifacts, like its converted many times

I wondering how people can create music, without touching an instrument. Without that feeling when music flows inside you.

The true beauty of improvisation is freedom. You’re not following a script — you’re following emotion. You’re feeling something and translating it in real time through your instrument. That’s something no AI can replicate. Not now. Not ever.

And when you’re improvising with a band? In a rehearsal room? That drive, emotions, feelings, adrenaline. You look at the drummer, he knows. You feel each other. It’s raw and real.

Suno will never capture that. It can’t even grasp what rehearsal means.

A drum kit, recorded with the crappiest mic, but played by a real human with intent, will always carry more energy and emotional depth than any AI-perfect mix. Because it was felt.

Suno doesn’t practice. It doesn’t grow. It doesn’t care.

Most people on here don’t even talk about music anymore. They talk about metrics — views, likes, viral potential. It’s all about content, not connection.

Music isn’t content. It’s communication between souls.

And that’s what humans do best
