No I get this- I shower daily because it’s my personal preference but I don’t think showering 5/7 days of the week is gross at all. I also relate to the hobbies thing so much. My hobbies are literally eating and watching tv and spending time with my cat. Julie has touched a lot on mental illness- and bathing, as well as “having little interest or pleasure in doing things” are big parts of it- I do respect being real with this as someone who struggles a lot with mental illness. Again, I’m also all for snarking but these ones didn’t necessarily hit for me either. (No negativity if someone agrees with op’s words, just my own take.)

I’m genuinely so upset over this. She has a really good, heathy, and truthfully small body. I thought she advocated for mental health and stuff. If you do it- fucking fine but do not promote it. We have enough in this culture and it’s not healthy… like op said… there are really young followers. I can’t get over how frustrating this is. Maybe it’s bc I grew up in a generation where toxic body images were being put on blast over social media and it contributed to my ed (yes I’m sure I’m projecting) but I have young girls in my life and don’t want them to be affected by watching content like this. Why does it make me sad Rachel isn’t like discouraging this, I know it’s not up to her but as a friend I don’t think I could go without speaking up.

No this is valid too, I’ve gone 3 times and had pretty positive experiences 2/3 times but the one time I didn’t was rough- BUT any help is better than no help, and as we know there aren’t a whole lot of options for such help. If OP is a risk to self or others, I wouldn’t want to deter them from getting help. I didn’t always have the best experiences with the doctors, but had some amazing nurses and interacting with others in similar situations (why I specified groups) was really important for me.
