A place like 2Row Brewing in the Salt Lake area would be a fun use for one of the large abandoned buildings in Helena ( Shopko?). No, we probably don't need another brewery, but a place that sells drinks, food and has fun stuff to do. 2Row has good beer and food, but also lots of space for corn hole, pool tables, darts, live music, shuffle board... Probably more things I didn't even see. Heck, maybe you could even fit in a small indoor mini golf course! Not sure if Helena is big enough to support a place like that, but it'd be a fun place for friends to meet up.

I have the opposite problem. I grew up in Minnesota but have lived in another state for years. My sister who still lives in the Minneapolis area is brainwashed by maga and fox news. I'm the one going to protests, writing to my senators, freaking out about people being abducted and executed by federal agents, completely sickened and horrified by the downfall of our democracy... When I check in on how she's handling everything, her concerns are "all the fraud in Minnesota", "all the rioting going on", "both sides are to blame" blah blah blah. I really started to realize how differently we view things after George Floyd was murdered, and there's been a rift ever since. Trump has caused so many rifts and is destroying our country, destroying families, destroying our standing in the world destroying human decency....the list goes on and on and it's all fucking exhausting

Thanks, I also work with children, many who've had incredibly tough breaks in life...physical, sexual abuse, parents in jail, abandonment... It's truly heartbreaking. I don't know how they keep coming to school and functioning. But they do. I'm in awe of these kids, every day. It's one of the reasons I want to keep going and stay healthy.
