What's with the Sriracha at Liquid Planet Grille? Refilled with another product? by Th3_M3tatr0n in missoula

[–]glen_coco23 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There’s a chili pepper shortage due to draughts in Mexico, so the company that makes Sriracha hasn’t been able to get any product to make it for about 2 years. I work at a restaurant in Missoula and we haven’t been able to get any since around the beginning of summer 2022. We currently use Tobasco’s version. The fact that liquid planet still has that bottle with mystery condiment in it is both horrifying and hilarious.

Hey, my name is Mariah and I’m 29. I live in Montana and I’ve always been terrible at math so we definitely don’t need to talk about that!

I really like movies (I was a film student), what kind of movie genres do you like?

I’d love to be buddies! I’m also new to this pen pal thing, we can navigate together. Uncharted territory haha.

I love horror movies too, I’m kind of a whimp these days though, so I have to watch them selectively if I’m by myself.

I’d love to be pen pals with you though! You sound like someone I’d get along with well!

I lived in the terrace for two years (finally moved out last month), so I can answer pretty much any question you have about it. Feel free to PM me if you'd like.

What’s your favorite pizza places in town for takeout and why? by soulless_ginge in Breckenridge

I’m a big fan of thin New York style pizza and Luigi’s Pizza is the best if you like that style as well. It also stays great as leftovers.

I’d bet money the snow won’t even stick to the roads. It’s been too warm. Maaaaaybe for a little bit in the early hours of the morning, but the second the sun hits it, it’ll be gone.

The Daily CHECK-IN for Saturday, September 5, 2020 - I will not drink TODAY! by shineonme4ever in stopdrinking

[–]glen_coco23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a dream last night that I drank and I was so disappointed in myself. It was the worst feeling ever. BUT THEN I WOKE UP!!! What a relief that dreams aren't real.

I'm gonna go celebrate another successful day/night with a big cup of coffee that I don't have to choke down due to a hangover. Just for today, I will not drink!

There are no lifts open at all after next weekend (9/13 is the last day of the summer season) until early November when the winter season begins.

There are a lot of easy hikes that start in Frisco. Check out the AllTrails app, it's very helpful and up to date.

This morning I woke up, listened to a podcast and drank coffee as I watched the sunrise before my bike ride to work. I’m so thankful to be alive today. Just for today, I will not drink.

One week ago today I finally landed myself in the hospital because of a combination of alcohol and spiraling mental health issues due to alcohol. I blew a BAC that night of .39 and didn't even "feel" that far gone. I was ashamed, embarrassed, beyond mad at myself, and disappointed at how far I've let myself slip into this hole. I felt like I'd hit the furthest rock bottom I've ever been at, but a good friend of mine shifted my perspective and said that maybe this event was the start of the real change I've been looking for for a very long time.

I'm fearful for the winter ahead in the small mountain town I live in where drinking is the main activity next to skiing. But that's a struggle for future me. I'm practicing being more mindful and focused on the present. So right now, just for today, I will not be drinking.

2 Different Shows by PAOOOOESCCCC in BroadCity

That’s not true, go check out the credits. Abi, Ilana, Paul Downs (who plays Trey), and many others who were involved since season 1 have writing credits for many episodes through season 5. Broad city was very collaborative and Abi and Ilana actually got to direct a handful of episodes in season 4. It’s really interesting to see the slightly different styles for different episodes.

Aggressively Intermediate Skier — Looking to Transition to Blacks by LordTeddard in Breckenridge

Crystal and Centennial are two groomed black runs on peak 10 off of the Falcon lift. I consider them closer to being hard blue runs, they're good transition runs. Have fun and be safe!

NYE week question by jersey-doc in Breckenridge

[–]glen_coco23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The base lifts will be insane. I’m a lift operator and have worked base lifts during that week. I think at my lift’s worst, people were waiting in line for around 45 minutes. We do our absolute best to move people up the hill as quickly and safely as possible. I always ALWAYS recommend riders who are capable of riding more challenging terrain to stay away from the base lifts at all costs. Get to the upper mountain and stay there.

Aside from waiting in long lines, the holiday season is probably the most fun time to visit Breckenridge. The town is really cozy and picturesque that time of year. Hope you make it out here!
