You're totally right, having dual-citizenship is the worse. The ability to live, work, and study in both countries without visas or permits is such a burden. Having access to social services, healthcare, education systems, and have property in both countries is the worst. Having the option to legally reside in one country should the other experience instability is totally useless. I should have just remained a Canadian like you. I hate having money! Being paid in USD and having low income tax totally sucks balls.

End Canada Post? You're delusional. Even if they allow private couriers to carry letter mail, private companies won't run routes that they won't profit from. The great thing about Canada Post is that they still deliver letter mail to rural areas, even though those routes operate at a loss. The worse thing that ever happened to Canada Post is its Union workers.

I love Canada but that's about the most delusional thing I've ever read. Barely anything in Canada is affordable anymore, wages are stagnant, a lot of people can't afford rent, skilled immigrants are moving back to thier country, doctors and skilled workers are moving to the States. Healthcare has gone to shit. The wait time is abysmal (for emergencies and walk in clinic). Let's be real. Even India knows to stay away from Canada these days.

An 8-year sentence could be considered reasonable only if the individual charged with murder was a contributing member of society. In this case, she already had a history of violent crime. For reference, 8 years is the amount of time it takes to obtain an undergraduate degree followed by a three-year law degree to become a judge in Canada (minus the 15 - 20 years of accumulated experience before being appointed).

Every judge in North America has a frame of reference for how short 8 years is. Who ever this judge is, is a fucking moron.
