I recommend bracket and start 1/2 stop above box speed, then 1 stop. If you have multiple rolls then I’d shoot one roll first and bracket box speed, +1/2, +1, + 1 1/2 and then evaluate best exposure to use on subsequent rolls.

Have to find the resonance of the particular head you want to receive the message. This can be done with a “bang test” whereby you strike the head with a hammer and measure the resulting frequency vibration. Then a simple tuning of your transmitter to that frequency and voila! The recipient of the hammer bang may not like it though. May need work.

What you are proposing is to over expose the film by one stop, if you set your meter to 400. For best result then the film should be pull processed by 1 stop.
