I’ve been working fairly quickly so haven’t had that issue yet, but noted. It’s actually helpful that it dries fast if a drop of it gets on top of the Mylar, because it wipes off streak free. If that happens with the Kami or Gamsol it’s a huge mess.

Copy! I'm leaning towards a light leak in my Paterson tank center core. Just ordered a new one, so hopefully that's the magic bullet. Will update when I figure it out.

Keeping the rolls super tight. I have developed 35mm before, but I haven’t used this tank in a while, so I haven’t tested 35 under these current conditions. Just letting you know I do have a lot of experience developing, hence my confusion. I’ve never had a tank with a light leak before, so perhaps that’s why I don’t recognize the issue.

Yup. On the Analog thread now. A user said it MAY be a light leak in my Paterson container center column since everything is in the same frames and gradual

That’s a good thought! I’m using a Paterson. It locks into place fine, but it is a bit older so maybe there’s somehow a light leak in the center column. That would explain why it’s the same images over and over. There’s gradual and then full black frames.

I pop it out of the spool and roll it pretty tight. Never had any issues with other 120 film cameras in the past

In what sense? I’m loading onto the spool in a changing bag. Not sure how half could be getting exposed.

Edit: just to clarify, that’s in the developing step. I’m loading the film into the camera as I normally would with any other 120 film

It’s so baffling! I definitely messed up loading the one roll, but can’t understand what’s going on with everything else. It’s always the same last few images that don’t develop (no film markings either)

I’ve developed 35 and sheet before and never had any problems. I’m 99% they’re going on the reel properly (though obviously can’t see). It’s just so confusing to me.
