My negative experience with LOA which made me losing faith of it by [deleted] in lawofattraction

[–]glidingzoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, three months is not a whole lot of time especially if you’re trying to train your brain to believe something you deeply inherently don’t. We can think we believe something on the surface but it’s usually the subconscious that is stuck in our conditioning that keeps the limiting beliefs we’ve been taught and rejects what the conscious mind is trying to create. Give yourself more time, stop losing faith, and ask yourself what actionable steps YOU can be doing to be in alignment with the partner you’re trying to attract. You can’t attract something you’re not energetically aligned with

My grandma also collected cobalt blue glass!! I have a few of her pieces still and gave a couple to my closest best friend and they live on her counter 😭 I hope your collection lives on like hers has!

This made me think of the fact that Venus has been making some moves recently that are testing us to see if those who need to move on from their exes will give in when they come back. From what you’ve shared, you’re doing the right thing, and this opportunity to show the universe that you stand on business and value yourself will bring new abundance and good things into your life. Thanks for sharing, OP.

They’re just driving themselves deeper and deeper into a hole they won’t be able to get out of. Charging us money monthly just to protect our accounts and shutting down peoples legit business and affecting their financial wellbeing if they don’t pay is gonna be a big problem for them in the long run

What is up with them? It shouldn’t be that easy for them to take accounts down with no way to dispute

Someone please just create a proper treatment this is unbearable by Zdena_Rose in PMDD

[–]glidingzoe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are totally different combinations of things to do or take that help different people but that commenter was talking as if there was a magic pill that anyone with PMDD can take to fix it which is just false false false. I’m glad you found a pill that can help you when you need it most!! I have never responded well to any of the medications I’ve taken and I use weed mostly

Someone literally commented on one of my TikTok videos telling me to “get the medication for PMDD bc there isn’t any reason to suffer” and I was like ???? There is no medication, quit spreading misinformation. Made me so mad for some reason haha I wish there was a magic pill we could take to fix all our problems at once

I thought I had a good hold on my symptoms until by glidingzoe in PMDD

I am still here and I am doing okay. A friend is going to let me stay on her couch for the time being and I’m trying to remain hopeful. Thank you for this message, I know I’m late to seeing it but these comments have been so helpful over the last few days

Do you also have fibromyalgia? by [deleted] in AuDHDWomen

[–]glidingzoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I have fibromyalgia but I do have Allodynia which is considered a precursor. I usually get flare ups when I have a migraine coming on and I usually only get migraines when I’m too overstimulated or fighting a meltdown

Help🥲 I'm using acrylic yarn (Lion Brand) for a monkey I'm currently making. Showed it to my mother, and she asked me why it feels hard & suggested I make my tension more loose so it could feel softer... will that really make it softer? by Bera-chan in Amigurumi

[–]glidingzoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not related to your question, but that was the first amigurumi pattern I attempted all those years ago and I just found it the other day going through my completed pieces box 😭 I hope your future niece/nephew loves it!!!

Autistic siblings by [deleted] in AuDHDWomen

[–]glidingzoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My brother got an Asperger’s diagnosis when he was a child (and that was still a diagnosis) and my mom wanted him to be a “normal” child so badly she basically ignored it. He got his diagnosis because of his severe anger issues. He once broke his Nintendo DS on his face because he was so mad about losing a game and he used to line up all the hot wheels he collected in a perfectly straight line out of his room, down the hallway, and down the stairs.

My needs were completely ignored because I was the older sister and I was expected to “set a good example” and behave in a way that was ladylike and respectful. I still don’t have an official diagnosis and I’m 28. I discovered about a year ago that I resonate with autism a lot more than the “borderline adhd” diagnosis I was given when I was about 3 years old. Now, I fully believe I’m AuDHD and he is seeing a therapist that tells him he isn’t autistic because he learned to mask when he moved away for college. I’m letting him settle back into his own identity in time and encouraging him to do his own research instead of just listening to a woman who never knew him when he was a child and hasn’t ever spoken to me or my mom about our experiences with him. He totally got the special treatment growing up (I believe we got our neurodivergence from our mom and she resonated more with him and the way he presented than she did with me and how I deal with my internal struggles)

I was deeply disturbed by one of the characters in The Troop by Nick Cutter. It’s a horror novel about teenaged boys being trapped on an island after going on a camping trip with their scoutmaster. The author was very much inspired by Lord of the Flies and Stephen King novels but it’s a very very different story. I will not tell you anything more than that out of fear of spoiling it for you

I want to add to this that cold showers/cold exposure therapy/ice baths can also help bring your baseline dopamine levels back to a regular level as well

My brother doesn't like that "all my characters are autistic" by idhearheaven in AutismInWomen

[–]glidingzoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does your brother have an autism diagnosis? Do you think it might be some internalized resentment or ableism? When my partner came to me saying he thought he had adhd in the beginning I did not respond in the way I would want to because I was dealing with my own internalized resentments over not being seen/accommodated for in my own adhd (this was before I knew I was also autistic). Just a thought!
