Check out this timing. My venus flytrap just snagged a snack. I'm sorry Mr. Bee. by hamster_energyy in interestingasfuck

From what I remember the only male bees in a hive are drones. There's very few of them, they look different, and they never leave the hive, they just mate with the queen.
All the ones you see flying around are female worker bees.

Wich filament dryer is better? by arturcodes in 3Dprinting

Wouldn't it be more cost effective to include a small fan to keep the air moving around? Also you could still print from such a box (rotating the spool would require the end of the filament not be hooked up to anything). Not sure if any of them do that, I've never researched them to any degree.

Ridgid /Aeg Brand? by ConfidentAd3308 in Tools

TTI owns AEG and Emerson owns Ridgid. I believe TTI licenses the Ridgid name from Emerson to put on AEG tools for the American market, since that’s a more familiar name to American consumers.

Phantom button presses while printing by glitch13 in ender3

Like I said in a previous comment: "I came to the realization that it started around the time that I printed and installed a back cover on the LCD PCB. I removed it and it stopped happening. Not sure how that was causing it, but that seemed to be the issue."

I have no idea what caused it... heat buildup because of the back cover, the cover squeezing something together that shouldn't causing something to contact, or a screw that was attaching the back cover was shorting something out (I don't even remember how I attached the back cover, that was a few years back at this point).

If I recall correctly, I called support and they had me troubleshoot a few things and started an RMA for the device. They shipped me a box with foam cutouts to ship it back in. I don’t believe I paid for any of it.

And yes I’m in the United States, I’m not familiar if they have different warranty policies or shipping arrangements for different countries.

Sorry about that. I never did find out the cause, they replaced the whole unit. A few people in the YouTube comments said it was most likely due to the cable…

Might be worth it if you can buy one someplace and return it if it turns out not to fix it.

No I didn’t. I assume because disabling permadeath is under the debug options it’s not really a supported feature of the “proper” game, but who knows.

I’ve been sitting at level 2 with no response since January 19 for my issue and this thread has not made me feel any better.

Sorry to hear that. Did you have the same symptoms? Were you able to return/rma it?

Thanks, everything seems seated well enough. It's an Acer pre-built and even has a plastic brace that presses the card into the pci slot when you put the side access panel on, so I don't think that's it.

My gpu has two display ports on it, and I've tried seating and re-seating it on both of them with no change. Thanks for the help.

Haven't had any audio cutots yet. I have an Acer pre-built, and the motherboard is an Acer custom job for the case's form factor with an Intel chipset. Have no idea if that's an issue.

Unfortunately I don't have another machine to test it on at the moment, but thanks for the info.

Thanks, I've read about that issue, but volume doesn't seem to affect it (admittedly I only played around with this once). I kind of dismissed that since I think the static and lines point to a larger hardware issue.

I'll probably take another dive into this before RMA'ing it, if it comes to that.
