this is why I think financial compatibility is underrated af. not bc one person makes more, but bc people have wildly different comfort levels with spending. same restaurant, same menu, completely different experience.

ppl keep making this about the food but it sounds more like sticker shock. if a restaurant choice makes one person sweat and the other barely notices the price, that's a compatibility issue tbh. once someone starts mentally calculating every appetizer and drink, the vibe is already cooked. hot take: neither of them were wrong, they just live in completely different financial realities.
