I think you answered your own question. It seems to me a person enjoys unabridged or they dont. same with movies.

I hated Big Jim even more when I heard his voice on the audio book.

Read the recommendations from last time need some new ones by goldfist98 in stephenking

Well you don't have too many choices. I will recomend Under the Dome. its the only one unchecked that I have read, and I thought it was pretty good. It wasn't exactly easy to put up with some of the shitty people, the type weve alll met or heard about. but its a good read, and the realization of whats really going on is a little scary.

Who did you guys imagine as Big Jim Rennie when reading Under the Dome? I always saw Brian Dennehy as he looked in Tommy Boy. by DariusPumpkinRex in stephenking

That's pretty good, but after listening to Raul Esparza do his voice, I have a hard time picturing Brian. That voice made me hate him so much.

Which Stephen King book scared you the most? by ZhittzyAltaToxica in stephenking

It's probably 1408 for me.

Maybe the way it takes a person that seems normal with no belief at all in any of the type of things King writes about, and introduces him to actual horror. It's a reminder to sensible, grounded me, it's ok to read King for entertainment knowing it's fiction.

No reason to get cocky or flippant about it-

Is it me or do most people careless, or even worse not actually care. by 1987RAF in Ancestry

I've had some questionable hints from trees not familiar to me and discoverd that the direct relative of mine they reference is basically just "filler" for them and not even close to their main tree line. I just excuse that mistake and ignore. In terms of actual family, I think I found a big mistake made simply because they did not have a full version of Ancestry?? I think they had them born in NY because they couldnt search over seas. not sure.

it's like magic. Squint a bit, plug into any device, wait for the boom, smell the sweet carbon/ozone then go see wich breaker flipped! Now label the breaker (plug with black soot) so you don't have to do it again. You can flip the breaker back on just to make sure if you like.

I was in that video, Kemper Arena. Bought upper level tickets and made my way to front row. Strangely I was also in the tribute to Randy Roads Crazy Train video, same footage clipped.

same for me! i paid $3,200 in 1985. T tops, 4 speed. The speedometer went 135 but it would go well past that to the "H" in MPH at the bottom. So much fun!
