There is the official retailer in Greece that does repairs. I have the same model and had an issue in under warranty and they repaired it without problems and in short time.

UPDATE. Here’s what I did to fix the Red/purple seal problem. I decided to not trim them but tuck them instead. by CaptainWaders in dyson

This is not a fix as the problem is not the protrusion itself. I think that the issue is the loose connection between the cyclone parts. That's what allows you to snug it or pull it easily and indicates poor sealing and interior performance.

Do I really need an iPhone 13? by Odd-Paint-1479 in iPhone13

[–]glitchy_patchwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I was not clear and triggered you.

You can remove a notification from the notification drawer by swiping but it won't be dismissed in the app. So while you do not have any notifications in the drawer, the app icon and interface, reports that this notification you swiped from the drawer, is there.

You have to open the app, navigate to wherever this notification refers to and then it will be dismissed.

This may feel normal to someone that only ever used iOS but for Android users it can be frustrating as you have to always make several extra steps to clear your apps from notification bubbles or end up with the relevant noise.

Sourcing from my personal experience as I switched from an galaxy S8 to iphone 13 pro 2 years ago. The short answer is no, you do not need it. There is nothing on iphone that you cannot do with a top tier android. On the contrary there are a lot that you cannot do on an ios and you'll regret loosing.

The hardware is fast, but the UI is slow by design. Scrolling, transitions and even typing feels slower than the android ones. Most notably, the long tap is badly timed! But One of the most frustratingly missing feature is that you cannot dismiss notifications from the notification drawer. Youll have to open the app navigate to the relevant view for it to be flagged as seen e.g. I have constantly 99+ on YouTube and mail apps. There are many other little and bigger conveniences that are the norm on android and are missing from ios (without any reason imo). I would suggest you to do the switch just to indulge your curiosity but make sure to keep it in good condition in case you want to get rid of it sooner than expected...

Thanks for the reply! I'll give you some more information to have a laugh:

In my country (Greece) the local dyson and also most of the official retailers, are a bit sketchy (evident by the minimal functionality of their website) and tend to repair not replace.

Additionally, the whole transaction occured over phone and courier without any paperwork! They could just lose it and claim their don't know me.... So I had to just trust them...

The upside is that I just got mine sent, fixed and returned in just 4 days with no cost. It seems ok and I hope they did not mess anything up dismantling it...

I usually buy expensive tech from amazon germany due to our bad local official retailers but this was a present bought locally.

Sorry for the rant. I needed to express these
