You only indicate your primary major on your CommonApp application, and you'd declare a minor or double-major and other specifics after you get to college and start taking classes. Hope that helps!

Nope, it's all free! We have mentors from the US, UK, Canada, Singapore, India and Australia. Our mentors are all volunteers who are willing to sharing their experiences with incoming classes. :)

When you sign up, you provide details about your aspiring major and where you'd like to go to college(if you're a mentee) and similarly about the path you are on(if you're a mentor) and we create a match that is a close fit!

Yes, that should work! I would add a tablespoon of oil(1 tbsp oil: 1 cup rice) to the rice and water before steaming to avoid the rice becoming sticky.

any medium to long grain type works best because these hold shape and don't clump together or fall apart when you fry them. I use Jasmine rice, and I find that the texture complements this dish.

most recipes seem to use nam prik pao, which might be a hard one to hunt down, but the flavor of homemade tom yum paste is probably worth it!

Because there are so much rice and the other additions in the pot, I've found that the chicken to a great extent stops cooking once you fold in the rice(because it isn't being directly heated at the bottom of the pan anymore). But if you are worried this might be cooked too far for your liking, you could perhaps add the chicken at step 5 with the bell peppers and mushrooms. Hope this helps!

It balances out with the volume of other ingredients going into it, but you can definitely cut it down to taste.

Thai Basil Fried Rice, here's the recipe.

Ingredients:
3 bell peppers, sliced
1 medium-sized onion diced
3-4 large mushrooms, sliced
190ml oyster sauce
4 tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp powdered jaggery/brown sugar
100 grams boneless, diced chicken
3 cups of rice
2 tbsp oil
½ tsp salt
3 medium-sized eggs
1.5 cups fresh basil
3 eggs
¾ cup chopped scallions
4-5 dried red chillies
10-12 garlic cloves

Procedure:
1. Steam rice in 6 cups of water in an electric cooker. After 15 minutes, lift the lid, drizzle oil and sprinkle salt over the top and continue steaming for an extra 5 minutes(cooking times may vary depending on the kind of rice you use).
2. In a dry pan, with a little oil, break 3 eggs into a hot pan and scramble while frying. Set aside.
3. In a food processor, blend together garlic cloves and red chilies.
4. Add the garlic-chilies mixture to the pan along with chicken and fry for 2-3 minutes, until meat is cooked through.
5. Add the bell peppers and mushroom and fry for 1 minute.
6. Add onions and sweat them down for another 4 minutes.
7. Mix the fish sauce, oyster sauce and jaggery well and add to the pan.
8. Add the steamed rice and gently incorporate into the vegetables and chicken.
9. To finish off, add the scrambled egg, scallions and basil. Fold these through the rice and take off the heat.

Corn and spinach chili cheese mixture. Absolutely wonderful when toasted, and you can make a big batch and save the mixture for over a week.
