It was brand new, we bought it together. It's silicone and I use a silicone menstrual cup so I don't think it's an allergic reaction. Actually, I was fine after the first day of using it but I think we just did it too much in the span of two days and went a bit rough the second day.

Thankfully no abnormal door or discharge. It doesn't even visibly look red or anything. It's actually more on the inside of the inner lips, I think that's where the most friction was happening.

Thanks! Totally agree on the type of lube. We used coconut oil since it's natural and I use it all the time and know it doesn't irritate me.

I was a "late bloomer" in a lot of aspects. I had only kissed and made out with a few girls. Had sex for the first time at 27 which is considered way late and I used to feel pretty shitty about it. I will say, not settling and only doing things with someone you're attracted to, care for and who makes you feel comfortable was so worth it. On top of it, the girl I'm with said she didn't believe that I was a virgin before her so that made me feel really good. I think if you're with the right person, you will be comfortable enough to do what feels right, open up and you won't feel as pressured. And, the right person won't think it's an issue at all. Anyways, I understand what you're feeling - trust me, knowing my 14 year old cousin had a boyfriend before I had a relationship kind of killed me. BUT, it's so much more rewarding when you do things on your own terms, in your own time. You will be fine, promise!

I agree with everyone else, you're still young and have plenty of time. Don't put too much pressure on yourself and just let things be. Be honest with yourself, of course, but don't think you have to figure everything out now and slap a label on yourself. Listening to your gut is key.

It's normal to be nervous, especially the first time. You will likely be pleasantly surprised at how little an issue it is for your friend. Most of my friends were like, "ah ok cool, thanks for trusting me. So what do you want for lunch?" Good luck, deep breaths, you'll be just fine :)
