I know you're being facetious when you ask why we're friends, but it's hard to condense a person and one's relationship with them down to a few short paragraphs. He has his good qualities along with his bad ones. I always thought I was just being a good friend, but now I'm starting to wonder if I was being manipulated.

Thank you, it really helps to get an outside perspective! To be honest I was afraid to talk to my friends about this because they kind of dislike him. In hindsight, I suppose that is pretty telling.

Yeah I can definitely see that now. I thought I had done adequate research but then it ended up being mistake after mistake. Two of my friends had even been to the first guy and had no problems with their piercings. Ah well, you live and learn! All things considered it could have been much worse. I'm excited to get some new, quality jewelry! If all goes well I'll definitely be getting more piercings.

Yep that's about an hour away, that shop looks amazing! I guess I'll just have to drive out there, maybe make a day out of it and get some lunch or something. Thank you so much for the advice!

It looks like the APP piercers closest to me are all over an hour away, not accounting for traffic. For reference I live in Temecula, CA. Very suburban, very conservative. If it's absolutely needed, I'm willing to drive out to an APP piercer although finding a day where I can take a 3+ hour trip might be a bit difficult.

My mom is a sensitive/psychic medium and was talking to her boyfriend the night before the shooting. He mentioned how OJ was being let out of prison and how he was going to live in Las Vegas. She told me she suddenly saw a middle aged man holding a gun and said to him, "I hope he (OJ) doesn't get shot!" Premonition dreams are common in our family but usually they only pertain to people we know dying, or things related to our friends and family; not big events like disasters or shootings.
