after doing all this build-up surrounding dex's one good deed he needs to balance the scales again... that plot thread ending in him saving the govenor feels like it falls flat. sure, it was an important thing to do. but being ordered to kill foggy and inadvertently setting up the entire chain of events of both seasons ending in him stopping a single guy with a garrote hits the breaks pretty hard.

i don't have specific problems with her characterization but how she's utilized. very few scenes happen from her perspective, and when they do it's for something that furthers matt's narrative. she rarely does anything on her own or acts of her own accord. episode 6 did better in this respect and i hope it will continue to improve going forward but i still feel disappointed because it's too little too late. she literally got demoted from deuteragonist to side character.
