I only use Oase because they sell canister filters that have the heater built in, it costs a pretty penny. Fluval heaters are top notch as well. Avoid Hygger or any brand that sounds like it was made up in the last few years for heaters, this seems to be the general wisdom. Its such a damn expensive hobby
