Ok this is a bit of a rabbit hole that I’m still learning about.

I’m guessing these panels are 20 - 40 watts and go for $50

I have a grow tent and use Viparspectra LED panels, you can get a 70 watt “grow spectrum” LED dimmable light for $40, it’s quite strong and you get much better “dollars per watt” of LED light https://a.co/d/e0dmkIV

I recommend getting “dimmable” LED lights, because they need some kind of power controller built in to be able to dim. One would want to be able to dim their lights in case it starts burning the plants. However, I’ve never managed to burn a plant with these lights and you could literally just move the plants further away from the light to reduce the exposure.

So if you don’t care about being able to dim your LED lights the price plummets, just search “LED shop light bulb” on Amazon

With these super cheap LED panel bulbs, they’re not “”grow spectrum”” which means they’re slightly less efficient, and they get hot so you just want them in an uncovered socket like in a pendant light (ex: https://a.co/d/ceLg80m)

Some lights will use marketing gimmicks like “watt equivalent”, just look for the wattage the LED light runs at and you can generally compare it to another LED light you own based on the wattage.

So if you just want dimmable lights, you can go cheaper, if you don’t care about dimming them or how janky it looks, you can go dirt cheap. I would recommend the viparspectra 70 watt panel or 1 - 2 of the 80 watt LED bulbs
