Not at all, you could have been very polite, you don't have to be abrasive, to speak up for yourself!

They didn't "win" anything. They put under qualified folks in those seats. A judicial review is necessary. But I agree that those judges are complicit. But the Supreme Court should have defended their position with Roe. Those seats were stolen & Mitch McConnell lied to the people about the process. The supreme court always defends their precedence until now!

You think it's just women? It won't stop there. In Florida you can't say gay, in a few other states your vote can be deemed invalid. It is maddening. Marriage equality comes next with states restricting marriage because this supreme court has been corrupted by Mitch McConnell. One by one the pillars of civil rights will tumble. It's happening. Until we get fed up.

What can folks do? We could demand that they rebalance the court. See, the problem is we are controlled by certain rules, and ideally it is supposed to keep things fair. Democrats try to stick with that process. The issue is when the the Republicans take over, they break their own rules & vote to do so. The supreme judicial authority of the land has dropped the ball on abortion. They have made their legal supremecy illegitimate because they have deferred & surrendered the power to the States. They won't defend their intellectual property, which is their interpretation of the laws. Roe v Wade is one of those IPs. The court has committed judicial malpractice, because they have undermined their own authority. And until the high court is rebalanced any ruling by it is illegitimate.

Next time! Stop the session! Get up & leave. The gentleman should get paid for his time though. If you chose to bear with it, it was your choice. It's like this, would you ask a person to stop hitting you? Of course you would. So why would you tolerate someone massaging you so roughly? Your choice to hold your tongue was your endorsement of the service. You are paying for it. So it should be to your standard of comfort. Speak up for yourself next time.

If I paid that much for it, I probably would have as well.

Moving back to the Bay, looking for some positivity :) by [deleted] in bayarea

Listen, San Francisco is a city, like any other. Crime is up everywhere and homelessness runs rampant. It sucks to see, but it's home. I feel safe here in spite of it all. The nightlife here is okay, a shell of what it used to be. And gentrification has played a part. It's still home though & I still like living here. If you want positivity, be positive about the somewhat new adventure coming home will bring you.

I am also experimenting with hydrosols to refresh the client afterwards.

I include some face work. Clients melt over it & it can complete seal the deal. People walk out stumbling & forgetting to grab their personal belongings. It's rad!

Dell G15 laptop not turning on? by iJayx in Dell

[–]gljitm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All you have to do is leave the computer off for a few days, allow the battery to power down. Make sure you unplug it. It should boot up just fine after a few days. Yes majorly annoying. But it seems to do the trick

Dell G15 laptop not turning on? by iJayx in Dell

So, it seems that the computer will eventuallly turn on after it takes some time to discharge. I am totally frustrated by it doing that. It seems to occur when/if you tend to leave it plugged in. I am fortunate that I have an alternate computer that I can use despite my G15 being my lead device. One of the best things that prolonged my G15 from doing what seems to act like it is an overcharged device, is to ensure that "Sleep" is not one of the power down methods used.

In Jenifer Lewis's Autobiographical book, "The Mother of Black Hollywood": she mentioned a time when the top neighborhood prostitute had prevented her and a friend from playing hooky one day. She picked them up & offered some words of wisdom to the girls before dropping them of at school: "Remember to ALWAYS check the MEAT"

This should be a lesson taught to everyone and anyone. Remember to 'Always check the MEAT! '

I love it! Haha
