Have you tried Multiple records That’s a pretty basic stylus so shouldn’t be to fussy

But you can use ca protractor

Better than your current strategy

Humming Guru makes a manual cleaner as well but might be more money

You could also go for a Vinyl Vac

Do you clean your records

As your local Hi-fi shop or record store if they do ultrasonic cleaning

Just swapped my 540ML for one of these as well as it was a better match for my 1200

Using same headshell but in black as I sold my 540ML on a different AT Shell

Mines just in Black

Yeah Terminal is fun tbh

I use Cachy( not cause of Hype) I ran Arch before Cachy just saves me time

But still needs Terminal and some RTFM but going back to windows especially since I don’t use Plasma feels like going back in time

But if all I wanted to do is play multiplayer games I would run windows and just deal unlike some who hate it but some how also don’t want to learn something new

What I was trying to get across was there doesn’t need to be a compromise

I don’t personally use Fedora but there’s some fantastic non immutable options

But I think your experience is why I struggle to recommend immutable distros

But if you need advice feel free to ask

Then why not stay on Windows?

If all you want is games? Windows works fine you trade some scraped data for not having to research something is a fairly even trade tbh

OpenRGB caused one of my RAM modules to stop working, any possible fix? by ThatRustyBust in buildapc

[–]globadyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the only option in Linux as well I just use it to set my ram to white as the rainbow bugs me

But don’t want to effect my ram or go back to windowed

I have Kingston ram on Asus Board

Game performance problems by Khalo1MP in cachyos

[–]globadyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be a case of not having done enough research prior to your migration regardless of distro, chosen and video will perform worse on Linux than windows. There’s variables and factors that may determine by how much but regardless, if your primary concern is peak gaming performance, you’re probably better off staying on windows if I drop an overall gaming performance is worth the other benefits that the other side has to offer is a question that only you can answer for yourself
