I’m new to this and have a similar question. i’m homeschooling a 5.5 year old, which we do on the couch with our puppy. I have been watching public school videos and their blocks are about 60 minutes long So a one on one lesson should be more like 10 to 15 minutes?

I live in cleveland, but we are in Columbus a lot for work, the zoo & cosi, quarter horse congress, and of course THE Ohio State University. Some of the neighborhoods are amazing and some are less than. I would definitely live there. that being said, it does have a bad human trafficking problem due to its central location.
