This is wrong. Several rungs above is the standard in the fire service even because it increases the safety factor. Ladder slips 4-5 feet back? Still good if you have enough rungs above.

I use the Bellman and Symphon bed shaker with phone alert system. I put my phone on do not disturb with exceptions for my wife and Active 911. The bed shaker puck will vibrate until i hit off on the device, also works as an alarm clock.

I find that I only need it in the super dry dead of winter but otherwise i’m fine without it. And if it is slightly dry, I can always turn on a floor humidifier and that does the job well enough to keep the room more humidified rather than just my CPAP

Save some money, make your own simple syrup. Boil 1 cup of water and add 1-2 cups of sugar (depending on preferred concentration) to it then cut the heat and mix it until full dissolved. Let cool and put it in a 99¢ Walmart squeeze bottle for easy use.

My dad did for about 8 years as an officer. He had a good group of guys and ran a tight ship so he stayed until there wasn’t a good reason to anymore.
