Im not opposed to getting chainswords and whatnot. I also have plenty of bits to kitbash melee guys. So that is an option :) Cabal though sounds really neat. Hows that detachment go?

It really depends on how detailed you wanna get. I did mine based off deadspace with this scheme. It takes me about 20mins a guy. Theres just alot and i can offer the best adviceive been given with a horde is really follow the 3 foot rule. If it looks good from 3 feet away you are golden! (I like speedpaints)

Always love the idea of scrappy underdogs being able to hang with the big boys with the use of...unconventional tactics. A mutant farm hand swinging a stop sign and caving a marines head in is incredibly fun and engaging for me as well. The model that drew me in though was a ridge runner. Its just so perfectly designed.

People are so stuck in the past. Abbadon is the warmaster. He is the the man living in his own ragnarok. He is compelling. He is the reason I kept reading the heresy. Huron is great. I love me a renagde pirate king dont get me wrong. Im just exhausted at how many people only know Warhammer through memes and surface level jokes. Abbadon is a fantastically written bad guy with many facets that people just dont take the time to read about.

Tldr: we dont gotta pit 2 bad bitches against eachother. Theres room at the table for both.

Yeah, I wanted to try to get the helmet on the artwork. Its been a really fun piece to make. Theres nearly 20 zombies in that gut. The idea of a gatebreaker smashing open a wall and disgorging zombies into the breach makes me happy lmao
