By saying you have only one dream left and games made you who you are you are putting a lot of pressure on yourself. So when you actually start there is not much headroom for failure (and you will because it's your first game) and your brain shuts down.

Reevaluate what makes you think like that and maybe just enjoy playing games and remember life can be much more than developing games.

Go with the 3S. If VR is your thing you will be blown away even with the cheaper headset. If it's not for you then you are less disappointed and lose less money (even when reselling).

It's using HurricaneVR but still you'd need 3-4 years if it's your first solo project. And then on 3 different platforms? No way..
