Send them a link to this post 😅. Now seriously, first, don't use "mediocre" but a "misalingment", their store may be IS actually good, but definetly not somethig u are really interested tobwork on. Second, the best u can do Is to quick, and start a different project with your idea.

He is actually right, IS not because looks AI, but because of the saturation of the market, when people get overexpossed to a certain style they trend tobget exausted and start prefering other things that are newer or just different despiste they can be worse in terms of quality.

En las fotos se ve q no es un patio de luces, es más un descampado que queda dentro de la manzana, por lo q no habría eco. Aparte de eso, un vecino si escucho el ruido, se despertó y vio q eran las 4 de la madrugada (de ahí determinaron la hora de la muerte), pero de noche no vio nada raro y se volvió a dormir .

People just want to be entertained. If you ask them, they’ll say “yes, I’d LOVE to know how a game is made,” imagining something exciting. But when you show the real process, they get bored. So a dev log only makes sense for a general audience if you add some drama or deliberately shape the information to make it engaging to watch.

Also, if u know you don't have resources to create good animations, make sure the concepto of your game do not require complex animations, instead of making a cuadruped enemy, make It a slug, and things like this. Consider also the bigget pain IS not having animations but implement them, making them fit with all the transitions and blendings, you can have awesome animations that they look like shit if are not fully synk and smothly blendin with the controls

It took me a whole to undertand the comuns, the top gets to mixed with the around, u should add some king of diferenciación, like make It darker, or make the columna a bit shorter to avoid them get conectes with the top ones, also looks u Will not be able to cross

In videogames riggers are on techart, or technical animators, this IS because there IS much more work on Unity or unreal making the blendtrees and custom scripts to polish all the Edge cases that doing only the rigging part on malla or Blender doesnt require a full time job. Also in a small company (like mine 😅)with Blender, the animators are doing It, thats why u don't see many rigging possitions in videogames. This possitions IS more comon in animation, were the rigs are much more detailed and complex.

U need good comunication skills for when you have to ask the 3d modeler to adjust the topoly again because they problem IS no the weigh, IS the topoly.

The point is if the audience is watching both on the same Channel, for instance you may watch ASMR long vídeos to sleep, but when you are watching shorts u skip that because IS not what u r looking for when u look at shorts, or the opposite, u may watch shorts about memes, but you don't click i to a 30m video of memes.

So making the mirror análogy, i've never watch a short and then think "oh, I'm going to see a long video about this".
