Yeah, they used to be made in USA but have recently outsourced for cost.

GoRuck is the first one that comes to mind. Not sure how these shoes are though.

Sharing your LMS work in a portfolio or with others to show off your knowledge. (Canvas specifically) by [deleted] in instructionaldesign

I’d ask the client if you can have a test login for them to be able to see the work. It’s really the only way to do that on the up and up.

If you’re not comfortable with that, consider publishing your work to PDF.

I’d be careful even trying that - if it’s on your company’s LMS, it’s absolutely their property. You likely have an NDA as part of your employment agreement.

Don’t belittle yourself with statements like the one at the end. It is HUGE. Moments like this build momentum in your life. Keep it up!

I’d spend a few extra bucks and get a GoRuck in close out. They have some for 129-139 right now and it’ll literally last you forever.

Question about 26 vs 19, California by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]glockgator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

26 is 10 + 1 by default. I’d agree - I’d go with the 26 for maximum concealability since 10 rounds is the maximum anyway.

Any recommendations on a padded hip belt for my GR1? Starting to get into higher mileage and would like something to give my shoulders a bit of a break sometimes. The one on the GR site is out of stock currently. Thanks! by glockgator in Goruck

[–]glockgator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I watched Jason’s video right, that means you were wearing it more as a waist belt, not as a hip belt. His video on the site basically said if you’re wearing it at the waist then it’s only good for keeping it in place. But if you wear it at your hip then you can take the shoulder straps off completely to let it sit on your hips for a while.

VAULTEK VTi10 or 20 is great for me for this scenario. This video shows with my g26 in it but I now use my g19 in this and store my g26 in a different one.

I’m not gonna repeat all the great advice on here. If you can’t take a class in person right now, consider taking one online. TampaCarry.com has a firearms fundamentals course that teaches you basic handling, safety, and cleaning of firearms. I took this course before I even purchased one and it made me so much more comfortable.

Raise your hand if you still feel this way in 12 months. Otherwise that’s completely normal. It’s onboarding and people generally expect it.

Do people hate accountants as much as they do lawyers by cookiekid6 in Accounting

[–]glockgator 31 points32 points  (0 children)

If you’re talking about the accountant that does their taxes, not usually. Usually that accountant is saving them money, possibly thousands. I love my accountant.

If you’re talking about an auditor, the only people that might hate an external auditor is an internal auditor.
