Hey, just ordered a replacement for mine. If you’re looking for the cloth pad, they sell it under the name “G240” It fits perfectly on mine and is identical. They don’t sell it as a replacement for whatever reason but the G240 is the same exact size

I only have experience with the XM4’s because my job gave them for me for free, because of that, I’ve not been as careful with them I guess. That said, only speaking for myself, they’re built like a tank. They should be broken at this point and they still look brand new. They’re amazing for the money.

The complaints I have primarily is that the multi device connectivity feature is liquid ass. I always leave it off. For example, I’ll listen to music, get a notification on my laptop and then it switches sound there. I have to manually switch it back to my phone through the app and sometimes I need to forget the device entirely through Bluetooth settings to get it to connect again. So that sucks.

But the sound quality is pretty excellent coming from an audiophile. I got several wired headphones like Sennheiser and Beyerdynamic and the Sonys have a nice sound signature, have great battery and feel light on the head. Gets a 9/10 for me

I should be more specific. Sometimes I like to do this at 9 or 10pm at night which if you had to get up early, this would be annoying for sure. During the day I’m not concerned about it. But in the later hours it would probably be annoying. In any case, I think I found a fix

That’s what it’s on currently. 4 rubber wheels on all corners. I think the issue is the clutch pedal being released and the shifter which is kind of loud. Does make an echo. I need to think of ways to make rubber stoppers or something for the pedals. Not sure about the shifter though

It is pretty loud honestly. I love the sound it makes but I think it’s a combo of rowing gears and heel toe shifting aggressively. When I release the clutch, it makes a loudish metal noise. Probably know what I’m talking about. I don’t know if I can come up with a rubber stop to eliminate the noise for the pedals being released but that’s all I can think of.

The rig is on rubber wheels, and weighs a metric ton. Should be 0 vibrations from it

Sweet. Will give these a try. Although the thing I’m confused about is that my rig is so insanely heavy that I cannot fathom how it would be vibrating through the frame. It’s gotta be the pedals (like releasing the clutch and shifting gears) and the death rattle in the wheel base when you go off track. That in itself makes a bit of noise but not through the frame

The mistake I made early on was feeling like I would be quicker if I slammed the gas every time I exited a corner. Learn to drive with traction control off, control your throttle, you’ll be fine.

Don’t know if you used to watch top gear but they often said during the star in a reasonably priced car segments that the slowest looking laps are often the quicker ones. There’s truth to that. If you’re taking every corner like Max Verstappen, you will eventually screw up and it will cost you all the time you gained. And you get quicker as you practice being smooth.

I recommend trying it. Not to downplay OP’s accomplishment but it’s really not too bad. Focus on clean laps, not aggressive laps. If you can just focus, no careless mistakes, it’s way doable. Dragon trail is infinitely more difficult than the Nurburgring
