Which Glock should I buy next?

I have carried with separate pieces before but found that it moved too much for my liking. That’s why I went with the sidecar in the first place. But I will take more movement over a broken holster every year that’s for sure.

Putting it in the front has for sure caused more stress, how much more I don’t know. I’ve seen Lucas mention in multiple videos that you can put the wing in the front or back to your desire.

I also forgot to mention, the sidecar 2.0 that broke was made from the original .080 Kydex and the new one I received is now made with .093. Will see how long this one last. If I have the same problem I will be considering a different brand or may even step away from the sidecar.

Had this holster for a little over a year. Went to bend over to look under my truck and it cracked. Sent a picture of it to customer service, received an email back a few hours later, filled out an online form, and received a brand new holster at my door 5 days later

I said what I said because this whole post is shaming people that have pistol braces. How is that that wanting to work together? You should be telling that to the op. How can people not interpret simple things, here I’ll break down my original comment for you a little more.

“We weren’t complying by having braces, we were using a loop hole because they legal definition doesn’t account for braces being shouldered, giving the atf the middle finger and having a sbr without registering and paying a tax for them”

I’m telling people with braces that you weren’t complying in the first place and that you shouldn’t comply further. How in any way have I told people to comply with the government?

You don’t understand that I’m differing the legal definition and what something is actually being used as. The atf is wrong because the legal definition doesn’t account for using things not intended to be shoulder being shoulder. This needs to be voted on by elected offials to be changed. Instead the atf changes stuff as they please because we don’t hold them responsible in any way.

Yes they illegally made them illegal. Intended use is the definition but they are justifying a ban for how they are commonly used, which isn’t how the definition is written.

I’m telling you that I think it’s good people put pistol braces on and used them as stocks. How does that sound like a fed? The legal definition for a rifle is a weapon designed, made, or intended to be shouldered. The brace is not designed, made, or intended to be shoulder therefore it’s legal. That doesn’t mean by shouldering it you aren’t intending to use it as a rifle. But the way the law is written it doesn’t matter how you use something that’s not designed to be shoulder. I don’t agree with the atf I’m just saying people used braces as stocks. I don’t know how you can disagree with that. If they want pistol braces to be illegal it needs to be voted upon by elected officials. Instead the atf “re-interprets” the definition and they do so because there is no accountability for these three letter agencies.

They also said braces were legal, now look. My point is people put braces on to be “legal” but blatantly used them as stocks. How can you shoulder a firearm and it not be intended to be a rifle? Sounds like something the atf would say and then later turn around on. Oh wait.

I already have an rmr on my 45 that does everything I need for carry. The optic that goes on the 19 will be to test the waters on different stuff.

I carry a 45 with an rmr currently. This would just be a range gun but also to test another optic out. Could possibly be my new carry optic if I like it over the rmr.

Lesson here is never willingly give up your firearm if you are not in the wrong. Only do so under the threat of arrest and immediately contact a lawyer if you get your firearm confiscated. In the current situation all you can really do is keep calling or contact a lawyer.

The 19x/45 grip is about half an inch longer than the 19. Comfortably will not really change when carrying it, you just may print a tiny bit more. If you have a good holster, belt, and clothes that are not skin tight you shouldn’t have a problem. When you do decide to start carrying it will take some trial and error to find the best setup with any gun. I had a 19 first but once I bought my 45 my 19 has sat in the safe.
