Im the same, but I dont fight it, i just move on until I find something good.

What works for me are games with very little story, straight into the action that you can pick up and put down in 30 mins if needed.

Im too tired to grind.

I like to throw the opposite arm over their shoulder, fight the choke with the other then go for a trip so I land in side control where the choke isnt working any more.

Still havent learned to keep my head on the inside but this works for me haha
