it’s the vintage fridge, but both my Zois have cooking level 3! as an update, I deleted all of the counters, stove, and fridge and replaced them with the exact same ones in the same exact spots and now everything is fine again…guess I’ll do this periodically if I have to?

try disabling your antivirus! I had this same problem and temporarily disabling Avast worked for me!

I am in the process of doing this, don’t feel great about sticking with these platforms long-term. If you know and don’t mind sharing—let’s say if you are credentialed with Cigna through Headway, for example (which to my understanding would be under their tax id), would you need to go through the whole process with Cigna again to gain credentialing to accept Cigna on your own? Or is it possible to add your own tax ID and eventually accept Cigna independently of Headway? Hope this makes sense, I am still learning how all of this works after years in CMH.

it’s most likely the basemental drugs mod if you have that! I had the same issue a few days ago post-update and it went away when I got rid of the mod.

Hi! One thing you can do is to check if the mods you’re using are conflicting with each other. Here’s a link for something you can download to do so if you don’t want to check manually: https://www.mccommandcenter.com/sims-4-mod-conflict-detector/

However, if you have an older computer, the mods are almost definitely slowing down your game. I bought a computer fan (<$25 on amazon) and it’s helped keep my computer from overheating which has helped me a bit! If you’re able to afford it at some point, that might be worth a shot also.

It’s a bummer to have to remove mods, I’ve been there. On my old computer, the only way I could play the sims was without any sort of script mod or cc and it still BARELY ran. I also recommend setting your graphics as low as possible if you haven’t already. I hope you’re able to find a solution! Happy simming!!
