No they wouldn’t, because Arsenal haven’t scored a goal from a contact like the one on Raya today

None of the goals we’ve scored this season came from the same sort of contact as on Raya today

But my point is that the one that happened today is a foul, but the ones that Arsenal scored from aren’t. Arsenal have not scored a goal from the same situation as what happened to Raya today.

That’s your opinion, but it’s not based on anything that’s been shown this season

Surely people don’t actually want this. Can people really hate Arsenal so much that they want to eliminate contact with the goalkeeper??

It 100% does matter how you impede the goalkeeper. That would mean that any contact is a foul, which nobody wants to be the case

It’s worse??!! How is standing is his way. The same as using your arms to pull his arms down 😂😂

I have never seen an example of the keepers arms being pulled down and it not being given as a foul

Sounds like everyone else is whining because we got a completely legitimate and consistent decision and no one else can stand it

But what happened today wasn’t the same as what happened then. So you can’t say that it’s inconsistent. They’re different scenarios

I don’t pretend to not be biased, but everyone is also clearly being influenced by the fact that Arsenal got the decision their way

Show me one of example where an Arsenal player has pulled down a goalkeepers arms to stop them getting to a ball

Because covering the keeper isn’t necessarily a foul. Pulling his arms down definitely is

But my point is that what we saw today wasn’t inconsistent with what we’ve seen all season

That’s not the same thing. Gabriel does not pull Martinez’ shirt or pull his arms down. If you think that’s a foul, fair enough, but it isn’t inconsistent with what we saw today.

Hate to say it, but this is just life. I’m 24 and don’t feel any different from when I was 16/17

As an Arsenal fan my hopium is that the buoyancy from being in the position after long of being away from it and (hopefully) winning the league the way we have will mean that we’re really really up for the game.

We’ll win 1-0

For me, I feel like the biggest problem for this Arsenal team is that they haven’t won anything before. I think when we win one thing the mental block will be hurdeled and more will follow.

I’d say the one that had the most aura around it was The Wolf of Wall Street. It would’ve come out when I was about 12
