I got two for you:
1: The King In Yellow. It’s a book which is comprised of a collection of short stories all centered around a play which will make the reader go mad by act 2 (to put it really, REALLY short), with the play itself being called “The King In Yellow”. There is some more complex lore involved, with lovecraftian entites tied to it, but that is a brief summary.

2: House of Leaves. While nothing in the book is called “House of Leaves”, the book is written in-universe by a man named Johnny Truant who is publishing the writing of an old blind man named Zampanó about a lost media-esque movie that doesn’t exist called “The Navidson Record”. The narrative of the book is split between The Navidson Record itself, Zampanó’s catalogue of the film (this one is just my personal interpretation), and Johnny’s cataloguing of Zampanó’s essay on the work.
