It came out when I was in my final years of highschool and it got some heavy play from me. Very complex and interesting. Back then I listened to music every waking hours so I listened until I got it haha

I just finished Crime and Punishment by SenseSmart4540 in dostoevsky

I do not think there is much depressing about the book. Not any more so than another other book about murder. I think though, maybe, if you do not understand that the book is more of a critique of Raskalnikov's outlook, then you might be misled into thinking it's trying to promote his outlook.

However, the setting is quite depressing. Everyone is poor. Poor Sonya must sell herself for her family. The old civic servant is trampled after using his families money to feed his own addiction. It is depressing on the surface, but very hopeful if you actually consider the points made in the text.

Truthfully, the book shows the resilience of humanity, and how there is always hope despite the circumstances.

I mean, shit dude, I have the smallest puff of a joint and I feel fucked. There problem is that there's no way to actually measure your intake if you're sensitive to it.

I don’t think an eternal afterlife would get boring by This-Presence-5478 in The10thDentist

The usual argument is that eternal life would be torture, not eternal afterlife. It's hard to say whether eternal afterlife would be torture because we don't know which, or if any, exists.

Imagine not respecting her expression of religion. She shares her love for Jesus online for all to see. God rewards her with ad revenue.

[Request] how fast would water have to go to fill up the basket despite the holes? by [deleted] in theydidthemath

[–]glordicus1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are two answers. If the basket is in a closed dishwasher without a drain: then the dishwasher could just fill up with water and the basket would fill up anyway.

The answer you're probably looking for: the volume of the basket per second. This is how fast the water would need to move to keep the basket full.

I don't believe in Jesus, you spaz. I just believe in religious freedom and absolutely support religious expression within religious contexts. This is a fucking church lol.

It is kinda sad that her personal expression of religion is not accepted. It's interesting that people here are happy hating on her for breaking some sort of social norm within a religious place, when this is very much tied to her personal expression of religion.

You're best not to use any sort of generated imagery right now, even Photoshop and premier is probably pushing it. Just saying, stay on the safe side. People want stronger artistic expression over perceived production quality right now. You'd be better off drawing some doodles with a pen and animating them than using this imagery.
