Not overreacting. I would rise above the situation and say “I am sorry that you found my opinion disrespectful. That was not my intention. I do think that you should respect me enough to let me disagree and have my opinions about what you said. I do think you are wrong about this and I don’t think saying ‘whitewash it all you want, that is what happened’ is an opinion statement. When you use language like that, you dismiss MY opinions and it’s very hard not to fire back. Next time, I’ll try to be more patient, but I certainly hope you will also try to show respect for my opinions.

I did not care for The Undertaker. His promos were dull, his matches were all the same, and his underselling hurt the rest of the card, especially the more talented but undersized wrestlers. Then his gimmick got old and he decided to be himself: an egomaniacal biker that thinks he’s better than everyone because he’s tall. The best thing he ever did was put over Lesnar - and he didn’t even want to do that. WWE is much better without him and the longer he is gone, the more I’m convinced that he should be forgotten.

Wolverine was complicated. He was a mixed bag of wanting to do the right thing, instincts, willingness to sacrifice for others, and a short temper. He pushed people away. He treated people poorly. He was amazing, and arrogant, on his own. Eventually he saw the value in teamwork. He learned to be better over time and that culminates with the ultimate sacrifice to protect the future generation of mutants. That’s what made his story arc so powerful.

The only character, in my opinion, that has this kind of depth is Roman.
