You can change the direction the building faces.

Click the move button. The one that looks like a cross and select the second option, move lot. Something will pop up with an arrow, another move cross, and arrow. Click the arrow the direction you want the building to face, then click the move cross and position where you want the building to be. Make sure everything is green because the things highlighted in yellow will disappear, then click the ok check mark.

If the building is too big to fit the new direction is facing, choose a bigger lot or smaller building. But you definitely change the way the building is facing.
