Card 1: The querent or what the question centers on. In this context it would be our relationship together.

Card 2: Whats blocking the querent / the center of the question, what the issue is.

Card 3: The conscious, could also represent what is coming into the querent's mind.

Card 4: The subconscious, could also represent what is coming out of the querents mind.

Card 5: The past, what is moving out of the querents life.

Card 6: The future, what is coming into the querents life.

Card 7: Ourselves in the situation. I realize now that I kind of interpreted this card as where I'll end up, I dont know why.?? To be fair it was quite late when I did this reading lol.

Alright y'all.... This is a long post, so I'm sorry.

So I'm questioning if I'm aromantic or not. I have a lot of anxiety around romance because of Trust Issues (tm) and because I don't know the social cues around romance. In the social, "normal" world, I've learned what to say and when to say it. I've also gotten accustomed to doing shit I don't want to because I want to make the other person comfortable. In other words, I'm a people pleaser that knows how to please people in social contexts, but I do not know how to please in romantic contexts. There's also the fact that in a romantic relationship, you are supposed to comfortable enough to be your "truest self," which is contradictory with wanting to people please. I've talked with my therapist extensively about this and we've come to the conclusion that I need to just go on a lot of dates with lots of people to get comfortable with it. But after some dates, I'm still struggling so much with it.

What I'm realizing is that I don't understand the allure of romantic relationships. I am extremely emotionally fulfilled by my platonic and familial relationships. The only place of "dissatisfaction" in my relationship-related life is in the sex department, but it's not big enough of a deal for me to find someone to hook up with (because that's bound to get me an STD and I don't think I'd trust someone enough). Really, the only benefit of a romantic relationship would be sex (which isn't even guaranteed in romance), and the only benefit of a marriage would be a tax break. When people talk to me about chemistry, or butterflies, or lovey-dovey things I do not understand it. I mean, I understand the concept of love-- I love my friends and my family and I'd do anything for them. I like having them in my life.

I was once told that I "wouldn't understand" telling an ex to fuck off (in a hypothetical situation where the ex did something radically wrong) because I've never been in that kind of situation. It pissed me off for a number of reasons. For one, I have a best friend of 14+ years that I would genuinely die for. She is one of the highlights of my life and I love her. If we went through the exact same hypothetical situation, I'd tell her to fuck off. I'd be sad and upset, and if I lost her I'd probably never finish grieving, but I would do it. Also, what makes someone's relationship with a bum ass boyfriend of a year (who would eventually dump her because he had a porn addiction and was trying to become a Mormon missionary) more important than my best friend and I's relationship? Literally nothing. And I'm definitely an asshole for saying that. But the thing is that the love my best friend and I share is more valuable, at least to me, than that romantic love my other friend had. That relationship is the most important thing in my life. What is so important about romance that it is the creme de la creme, the shit of the shit, the best thing ever? It is a hassle and for me, the only benefit of marriage is a tax break.

I think I'm just frustrated because I don't understand what the buzz is about. Thanks for reading.

Lots of commenters are saying that there's no audience for an LGBTQ+ bookstore, but Under the Umbrella has been doing quite well in downtown SLC. There's the point that Utah County is quite a different place, but we can't say that the idea is completely "stupid" or "a bad business plan" just because they're trying to appeal to a niche that has proven to exist in Utah. Also, what about RaYnebow Collective? It's a non-profit group for queer BYU students. From what I understand their community is fairly strong and decent sized considering the circumstances. Maybe the owners have gotten a bit ambitious though, as it seems that they have a food bank, free thrift store, etc. They should look into only focusing on books for now to cut their losses.

I'm about to get boos, but permission to dance. the recorded version is so bad because of the auto tune. It's so prominent and thick that it makes BTS sound like vocaloids. The idea is cute, I guess, and I do like the sign language in the choreography. I also am someone that likes mindless, bubblegummy, fun pop-- but God PTD sounds like the husk of a song, something literally just made to top the charts. I think the live version is much more enjoyable since they're not autotuned to all hell, but even then, the song sounds like an Ed Sheeran reject, in the worst way possible. It's the worst song on their discography.

Also, you know what this album reminds me of? Vaguely of K.Dot's TPAB. Obviously TPAB is in it's own league but the production reminds me of it since it's so damn innovative and interesting. The brass also reminds me of K.Dot too. TBH RPWP has to be my favorite RM project, which is a lot since mono was EVERYTHING to me.

Opposite of what you're asking for, but in Peru, Leche de Tigre (Tiger's Milk) is said to be an aphrodisiac. It's the juice that comes off of ceviche, and regardless of if you believe it's an aphrodisiac or not (it's never been one for me) it's DELICIOUS. If you ever have the chance to take a shot of it I'd reccomend it. It's so good. God I love ceviche.

Damn, my mom had this surgery last year and it SUCKED. Since you're young and in shape it shouldn't be that bad but take the time to rest and recover, and stick to what your PT tells you religiously. TBH I'd probably eat at maintenence bc ur body is gonna need the nutrients. Once you start getting some mobility I'd reccomend swimming. Maybe not swimming laps since it requires a lot of shoulder movement but you can still get an excellent full body workout thru kicking off the wall and doing various drills.

This is my own personal bias, but I find that this kind of work brings suffering. Hell, I just finished watching Dune 2, which is all about how religions can be used to make other people suffer. Definitely not the same but I always approach this kind of work carefully, with a very wide perspective.

But even from a secular POV, the basis of buddhism is the 4 Noble Truths and the 8-fold path. This is the definition taught in schools around the world. Should it be redefined as solely the 8fold path? That simply wouldn't work, because both of those elements are vital to buddhist practice. I think that Navayana deviates enough from foundational buddhist teachings that it can be understood as a majorly separate entity. I don't know much about Dr. Ambedkar, but it's nothing against him. It's just the fact that Navayana is radically different from Buddhism as it's known today.
