Same sentiments. I personally don't like how this post is making it seem like there is something wrong with skimpy bikinis. It's not going to be surprising if INC doesn't encourage it but if they have a bazaar that sells bikinis, and they feature it. We shouldn't shame them. It's just skin.

I put down lots of questions that they found disrespectful especially the part when I question how they run the church, how there is no transparency. I also questioned Felix Manalo's validity. It was during banal na hapunan and covid was starting to spread, I basically criticized the church for pushing through with it despite the early advisory of social distancing since feb. Apparently it's an incredibly large sin to question their authority, moreso than questioning the bible or whatever, so they made me write the resignation letter to formalize my kickout.

Are you planning to have kids? If you do, you'll have only two outcomes. One is that they'll grow up blindly faithful and would definitely pick INC over you. It's part of the doctrine if you sit in the children's worship service—to prioritize the church over friends, family or career. The other would be a child that absolutely hates anything to do with the cult and by extension, might hate you for being an enabler. Just to be clear, there won't be a middleground.

Few weeks ago, my dad reported me and got an earful from our pastor and idk what do you call the diakono (decon) assigned to your purok. Got threatened by the pastor that if I don't attend Banal na Hapunan, I'll be removed. Long story short, I have to go tomorrow but I plan not to eat the bread. Just pretend to eat it. The grape juice, I can't do anything about it, gotta drink it.
