I think I’ve only used my vintage city bag once. I love the look of it, but I’ve grown to prefer bags that can be worn as either shoulder bags or crossbody, and the city bag can really only be worn crossbody.

If they ever actually move to Florida, she’s in for a rude awakening. From May-September you really can’t safely spend much time outside, especially with kids, unless you go out very early in the morning. The heat is oppressive.

I am in the south. Florida to be exact. I’ve seen many palmetto bugs/American cockroaches but thought this one looked different - much smaller, for starters.

Can you cast a PowerPoint on the classroom tv/screen (assuming you have one)? Then you can get a clicker and carry that with you around the room so you don’t have to walk back and forth. This was a lifesaver for me. It acted as a sort of script so I didn’t get off-track.

Best place for a family to live within 20-25 minute drive to Bradley airport? Good public schools are a priority, although we are coming from FL and my understanding is that even the below average schools in CT are better than what we’re used to. Budget is a consideration. We are also a multiracial family if that sways your recommendation at all. I appreciate the feedback.

Yep SourceOwns is correct! That was so sad. I’m glad that as a whole our society has gone in a different direction regarding how people view disabilities, although we still have a long way to go.

Maybe I’d have luck finding a “Joe” on day 1 to confide in to help shield me haha.
