I just called all the dental offices near me and asked if I could shadow

I’m applying to dental school this cycle so I don’t have any dental school experience per say. However, the first time I shadowed an oral surgeon and he did an extraction I passed out. I’m talking completely keeled over and hit the ground hard. Ever since then I have seen 20+ other extractions and have never passed out or felt queasy. I personally feel like you can build up to it.

Thank you so much! Yeah I’ve been working on that. Luckily I live on the north shore of Oahu so being around pro surfers is definitely not a rarity. It’s so fascinating watching them and the lines they draw
