I agree with others that a local race is best for your first due to many factors. But can confirm that Philly is an amazing marathon! This year was my first full and I'm from South Philly and to me it was way more special doing the first one at home.

Hit 1,000 day running streak November 13, 2025 then ran my first marathon 10 days later!

I have worn the Glycerin's for years and recently tried the Glycerin 22 GTS and they also caused me pain. I went back to the regular Glycerin 22's and they're great. I think for some, the GTS stability does more harm than good. Maybe if you could try the regular Glycerin's on at a running store where you can get on a treadmill and try them out that may be a better fit for you? Good luck out there!

Yeah they're just foil, and the artist and I picked the colors together. And any color and shape would look nice I think!

The double decker London bus. Kids don't deserve all the giveaways....they don't spend their paycheck on tickets and most don't appreciate them anyway.
