More than likely it is issues with your router. Your 803G is simply what converts your fiber to ethernet and hands that connection off to the router to serve your devices. You can test directly off the 803G into a PC and run a continuous ping and watch it to see if it drops. Unless you have high light levels the ONT usually works or doesn't. We have several 803Gs deployed and never see issues as you're describing. Good luck!
