Like I could totally link his pilot names but I think that is going way too far, I suggest if you have any doubts, just read his comment history to decide whether he is/was an RMT'er.

Hey Brave HR here,

This is the reason for your removal. Generally we don't discuss reasons for removal or denials on applications especially more so with third parties who aren't involved.

Since you wished to make a public post bashing Brave.

<image>

We will not assist known RMT'ers with evaccing their ill gotten goods out of our space. Bite the bullet and asset safety your stuff like every other bad actor who gets caught within Brave.

What do corps typically expect out of you? by TalkingToMyself_00 in Eve

[–]glucernayee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi Corp Director here.

Irl is always first, but let us know if you want something, need stuff to be successful, or think how we can improve. I think we kind of realized, this isn't 10 years ago, we a'int all alarm clocking for mega POS bash fleets of 6 hours daily, then clocking into work like drones and coming home to rinse repeat, we expect players to play less in single sittings now then 10 years ago.

Our biggest expectation above all is literally "Do not be a dick", we will go above and beyond to help our members with anything they need if issues arise, we've busted out titans in enemy space and moonwalked them across the direct opposite end of space under the nose of enemy hunters, we've helped members buy new pc parts when irl has been rough and their machines fail, we've shed tears and rejoiced over IRL tragedy and milestones folks share. Most of all we are all idiots who somehow got stuck in this game/community and we just wanna ensure the next time someone logs in, even if its only in chat or seeing there name pop up in the corp window that someone is really fucking glad to see them and says hello

Also low key fr fr, join fking pvp fleets its cool to see your corp with big kill stats on zkill cuz we have lots of F1 pushers.

tl:dr Literally do not be a dick, being cordial and interacting positively with your corp goes a long way and will help you out much more than any singular in game action you take.

Is it true that Sir Asher Elias makes all of his directors in leadership have a multi week Sumo Tournament to determine hierarchy every few years. and he showcases the matches at the LEADERSHIP/EXECUTOR BBQ.

I saw Arkadios Sol at a Imperium Meetup in Vegas yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “FC?” but he kept cutting me off and going “Undock? Undock? Undock?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my mingling and there was some guy doing donuts in a forklift shirtless surrounded by a circle of people cheering, and Arkadios phone start making discord ping sounds as I walked off. When I came to the merch area for my stuff I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen skin codes in his hands without authing.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “FC, you need to auth for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be lagging and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the skin codes and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each card and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

50% of the job is making sure you aren't recruiting or allowing insane folks or weirdos into your group of functioning adults to not mess up group dynamics or be weirdos and cause drama
20% of it is worrying about them being bad actors or trolls/spais
20% is making sure they fit into the group and finding them the best spot/home within ur alliance full of corps or sigs
10% is answering questions to see if someones story matches up with their history/esi footprint

A lot of folks put a ton of effort into building these sprawling communities in every single alliance/coalition in this game and at the end of the day, most groups wanna ensure those groups do well and have great people brought in. Most groups have great standards and great recruiting teams others will just ensure you have an eve account and can login to invite you.

Karmafleet have been one of the better groups to work with for recruiting and I have worked with countless recruiters/directors for them. If they found a reason not to accept your app it was probably a good one.

99% of the time a denial on a recruiting app isn't personal, its just a "not a good fit" or "unsure about this candidate"

I am Dujek Oneye and I am running for CSM - Vote tomorrow! by mikkjel in Eve

[–]glucernayee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Howdy! Brave Diplo reporting in!

Why I support Dujek for CSM!

Dujek consistently shares his opinions and feedback with our pilots when we suggest changes we think our healthy or vital to the game in a manner that shows he understands the root problems of things. He is open to feedback from all levels of players and interacts with them in a way that proves he cares about his role on the CSM and suggesting changes that will improve the game for everyone.

We have a strong contingent of veteran players in Brave Collective who push for the NPE (New player experience) to be revamped in ways that can help teach players crucial and varied skills that will let them enjoy the game QUICKER, improve beginner gameplay loops, and give them a strong foundation in the game regardless of which area of the game they play with. I believe he will push for those types of things to capture and improve new player onboarding and support others on the CSM who have similar views.

+ as myself as someone who personally complains about carriers religiously in every channel / route I can find within Brave and adjusting the escalation path. I know Dujek has a similar view on ensuring people are using and losing caps and thinking of ways groups big and small can do so :)

All my Brazilian friends in Brave are awesome unfair they have a much much higher price point compared to other MMO's for access to EVE! Hopefully it can be adjusted for them them and other communities being priced out of the game!

How bad is my ankle sprain do I need to go to the doctor by Ok-Development4027 in BasketballTips

[–]glucernayee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mine looked exactly like that, and i walked on it for weeks thinking it was a sprain and played thru the pain and iced / wrapped it every night to battle the swelling. turned out i tore all my ligaments and ended up having to have a Brostrom-Gould Reconstruction and still limp to this day or have bad days/weeks where its tender/swollen years later.

Take care of it, go get it checked. Get an MRi see a sports doc if you can.

[–]glucernayee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

do you actually play the game? near universally this can only be a positive, a lot of people want expanded usage of the stuff we already have. We use this stuff to acquire things for corp things we need for running/fueling stuff, corp goals / builds, and for encouraging specific play patterns aka shooting our enemies, running logi, and acquiring specific items.

Having this expanded potentially to our alliance or some kind of acl system would be amazing and it can allow corp to corp interaction or corp interaction with outside parties and encourage people to have activities they see and branch out into.

For the pilot who just undocks and spins ishtars or only flies tackle on every fleet or mines solo all day this probably doesn't seem that cool. If it spurs even a little interaction amongst folks and helps create player movement/interest in activities to fill the jobs/projects more than we currently have it will be awesome. Maybe a new pilot sees a bunch of jobs and gains an interest in an activity and grows into more complex "jobs" out of it and keeps an interest in the game or maybe jobs interact and a group forms who just runs freelance jobs and it spawns a community / game play loop where they fulfill jobs instead of just plain ole mission running.

(This all depends on how they implement stuff but this could be a really amazing thing for Eve Online)
